3T is a good guess. My daughter is two years old, but she wears nighttime diapers in the size 4/5 range.
They can be washed a thousand times and still be in good condition. This product continues to be one of my favorites.
Yes, I used to have them for my son when he was younger.

They're well-made and thick. This is something that my two-year-old can do on her own! br>br>Size: br>br> When my child was 18 months old and weighed around 21 pounds, I began potty training him. I'm so glad Gerber makes the 18-month size because these were one of the few that fit her perfectly! Even though I'm only 25 pounds, I'm a force to be reckone These are more snug than the 2t sizing, which I prefer. The 2t- 3t is still a tad on the large side. Accidents: br>br>Unfortunate events: br>br>Unfortunate events: b Accidents are much easier to clean up because of the absorbent, thick layers. When she has a car accident, the first thing that comes to mind is- Was she dressed in Gerber training shorts or regular underwear? Gerber might have a tinkle running down her legs, but I'm not expecting a large puddle on the floor. There will most likely be a small puddle on the floor, about the size of my palm. This is far superior to ordinary underwear that has no absorbency. She'll end up with soaked pants, a puddle on the floor, and a pee footprint trail if she wears regular underwear. SAVE TIME AND MONEY. Purchase a few more of these. We don't even wear traditional underwear. The cut: br>br> I like how the bottoms of your child are completely covered. In the private area, I can't stand how Walmart underwear is cut so thin. Little children are constantly jumping around and lifting their dresses. I want my child to be dressed in pants that are well-fitting and provide adequate coverage. These fit snugly around her thighs and have a wide bottom! br>br>Diapers/Training Pull-ups- These training panties are to thank for our success with potty training. My toddler seemed unconcerned if her pull-up was soaked. She'd go on and on, sometimes oblivious to what was going on around her. We found it to be ineffective. If she wets her underwear, these pants make it VERY obvious. You'll have to make some changes. There's no way to keep playing with these on while walking around. It strikes the ideal balance of wetness and ease of cleaning, in my opinion. She even wears it at night, and she quickly learned not to pee on her bed (within one night)! br>br>Thank you, Gerber, for making potty training so much easier. The one thing I wish was available is a 12-pack of cigarettes. Also available in a size for 18 months!.
The girls' version arrived, and not only is it much larger, but the padding isn't nearly as good. I recommend getting the boy version if you don't mind your girl's training pants having little sports balls on them.
This is primarily a fit-related review. All of the reviews I've read say that these run large, which is probably true if your child is slim to average. However, I have a "viking toddler," as I like to call him. She is about 3 feet tall and weighs 30 pounds, and she just turned two. She isn't one of the "slimming" toddlers, and her thighs and bottom are disproportionately large. Many 2T and 3T leggings are too small for her, and 2T leggings are only halfway down her backside. If your child fits this description, these training pants will most likely be a perfect fit. The leg holes on these are a perfect fit for her, and there is enough fabric to cover her entire ample rear end. They essentially fit together perfectly. These are excellent for minor mishaps. br>br> My daughter goes to the bathroom and stays dry for the most part throughout the day if I remind her often enough, but she does have small sprinkle-type accidents now and then. These wouldn't hold a full pee because they're just regular cotton underwear with a padded crotch.
This is fantastic. These are what I'm using to help my almost 2-year-old learn to use the potty. I covered these with plastic covers, which is greatly assisting me. She didn't even tell me when she needed to go potty with just pull ups, and we were wasting our time; however, after only one day of using these, she is telling me when she needs to go (we haven't made it to the potty yet), but she is telling me. I like how they're not as thick as a diaper or a pull-up, but thick enough to absorb the majority of the liquid. I've washed and rinsed these a few times since I got them, and they still look brand new. These are fantastic and I would strongly recommend them for potty training. They're made of a burp cloth-like material.
The leg holes aren't very big - Although these may be too small for a child with large thighs, my child's thighs are extremely thin, so the fact that they won't ride up from the sides is ideal. Although the padding doesn't appear to do much to absorb wetness, these appear to be the best option for potty training because you want your child to feel like they've wet themselves. br>br>For a sense of scale, consider the following: For my two-year-old, I had to order an 18-month size. Despite the fact that she hasn't tried them on yet, they appear to have enough room for her to grow. She's quite petite, weighing in at around 24 pounds, which puts her in the 10th percentile for weight. She has a particularly small waist. Her size 18M leggings are now ankle/capri leggings, and almost all 2T pants are too big around her legs (I can't size down with pants because of her height). So I knew I'd have to go down a size in underwear, and 2T would have been way too big for her based on the size of the 18M. If your child is of average height and weight, I'm confident that the regular size will suffice.
We're so glad we came across these Gerber workout pants! These are perfect for our 18-month-olds who are still wearing 18-month-old clothes. They don't hold a lot of urine, but they do keep you safe from major mishaps. Each pair has a thicker liner on the bottom to keep little ones dry while also letting them know they've been taken away. These aren't as thin as your average toddler's underwear.
