I wore these for the first time in the snow today, and my toddler's feet were soaked and freezing within 15 minutes, and he began to weep. As soon as he changed into his rain gear, he was able to spend 45 more minutes in the snow without any.
You can read the latest update here. Their waterproof nature prevents them from being used outside. Putting them on and taking them off is very easy for her, because they are so comfortable for her. As she was trying to get into the car (not to play and jump), she walked through a puddle of water, so her feet were soaked. After that, due to the cold out there, she wasn't pleased with her Bogs boots. I've owned bogs boots before and never had any problems. I was very disappointed and I did not think forty dollars was worth it I have a few bucks. **update** I contacted bogs directly and they handled the issue for me. It is a pleasure to do business with bogs. They provide excellent quality and support for their customers.
In spite of their durability, they stand the test of time. The boots never made his feet wet or cold and, as opposed to other brands, they are easy to clean and still look like It was impossible for my little terror to harm them in any way. My friends or our daycare have passed them on to younger children when he grew out of them. Make these the way you always have regardless of how well they stand up over time. My promise to keep on buying is real.
For my boys, these are my favorite little boots. She can take them off/on by herself at 2 years old. Because they are waterproof, they get super muddy and I can rinse them off with a hose and they can wear them immediately. The boots also performed well in the snow without the feet getting wet.
It's a little bit chilly inside these little boots, but they are adorable nonetheless! The only negative is the opening at the back. A puddle wets her feet after she walks through it. The sliding doors are easy to open and close.
A couple of months ago, my almost two-year-old son was thrilled with a pair of these boots. They're so comfortable that she wants to wear them even if it's not raining or snowing. As soon as she grabs them from the closet and puts them on by herself, she will put them on The following is a highly recommended read.
My little boy had a version of this, and my little girl has this one. It needs a little TLC when cleaning the inner part. Despite the furry inside being very difficult to clean, it is overall still very cute. As she used these on the beach, water got inside and ruined her feet. The boots are covered in a smelly stench as well.
Though these are adorable, they are not waterproof like the larger ones that are higher up. It might rain for a short time and not too long in the cold in a puddle. My second choice would be to return them and exchange the higher ones if they were in infant sizes. Additionally, they do not respond well to iced, slippery or frosted surfaces.
