We've washed each once at least five times so far and there are no quality issues. It surprised me when they arrived to discover they also have a black stripe about half way up the back of each leg, in addition to their bows. The picture wasn't clear enough to me, so I just didn't look closely. Truthfully, I find it a little weird, but then again she looks at the back of her leg anyways.

A very nice, cute, and warm teddy bear. It should be noted that my twin granddaughters wear 6 months, and I bought 6 months 9-month size. The only drawback to these is that they're a little baggie, but not tight around the belly, so they can wear them several times. Whether handwashed or machine washed, the mittens only shrank a little bit.
