My four-year-old son will be six years old in six years. They fit a five-year-old girl who is 40" tall and weighs about 38 pounds well, and the waist is high enough that she can wear them for a long time as she grows. The quality appears to be excellent, and they appear to be durable.
With the exception of the very wide feet, the legs fit my small 5 month old as expected. They appear to be made of synthetic material despite 100% cotton in the description. Those I have washed at least twice or more have shrunk to 25% or so (see picture). One's waste has begun to splinter into shards of shattered pieces. Overall, I like them, but I wish I could find some of higher quality. br>br>Edited to add: br>br>After several washes, they are aligned strangely, so the feet part of the picture on the right is crooked on/off. They fall apart at the waiste (revealing elastics), so can they be stated as 100% cotton with elastic anywhere in makeup ? Finally, the feet remain very wide and crooked, despite the fact that they shrink a lot (which I like).
My daughter looks adorable in these tights! I bought the three-pack. My 15 lb 25 in 3 month old was able to fit into the 12 month size perfectly. They're soft and warm, and they go with everything. We will most certainly purchase additional items.
Although it was a little shorter than I had hoped, it was still a good fit for me. Our 16 month old is in the 90% for height so I was hoping they’d be a little bigger so I could get more use out of them but they fit her well My favorite feature is that the waist actually fits her because she’s in the 40% for weight a lot of things that fit her length fall off her waist but not these.
These tights are nice and thick, and they're also very cute. My baby, on the other hand, is almost three months old and is extremely large for her age, like off the charts large, and she wears a size 0 diaper. Her 6 month size was enormous on her. She's about the size of a six-month-old baby and dresses like one, so the 0-size is appropriate. If anything, a six-month size should be snug, not oversized.
They did not fit a tall child, the material is not stretchy and itchy, and the color was a little paler than expected, so they were not worn a second time. If you do decide to purchase them, don't dry them. You've shrunk a lot.
