The first thing I noticed were the socks, which appeared to be for a toddler, but the kneepads were for very small babies. The socks and kneepads have a pleasant texture and softness, and they appear to stretch only slightly. They stretch a little to get on the baby, but then they tighten up around the leg of the baby. As a result, they leave marks on the baby's leg and make him feel uneasy. br>br>When we tried them on, my son was 6 months old, and his legs were a little chunky, but not much more than the average baby's. They were extremely tight on him and seemed to irritate him if he wore them for an extended period of time. I also removed them after a short time because I was concerned that the tightness of the seams would cut off his circulation. Even though they were snug, they kept falling down his leg and off his knee as he crawled/moved around.
I'm not sure if they're brand new or if they've been used before.
I was concerned that they would be too tight around the knees because my baby is about 18 pounds and has chubby legs. They were stretchy but not overly so. It had just the right amount of texture. I wish I had considered these options a month or two ago.
My son was learning to crawl and getting rug burn on his knees, so I bought these for him. He's on the smaller side of average for his age, and the knee pads were almost too tight, but didn't offer much in the way of padding. They're basically just a knee-high sock with anti-bacterial properties. grips on the floor After a couple of attempts, we decided not to use them. br>br>The socks were fine, but the knee pads were what drew me to the pack.
The socks do not match all of the colors of the knee pads as shown in the picture. They're various shades of the same color. Also, the knee pads are quite small and cling to the legs too tightly. This is a major letdown. The socks, on the other hand, are both adorable and comfortable. The material is very soft and well-designed. Has a little extra on the back to keep their ankles safe from their shoes.
So I bought these in the hopes that they would be useful. They have the same appearance as the picture, but are less expensive. And they literally roll back down when you slide them up to your thigh to put them on. Also, they are very tight and appear to be uncomfortable. The socks were a little big, but they had grips on the bottom to help you walk. On the crawling slips for the knees, there was no padding, and the cloth is thin. As a result, they do nothing but roll down the stairs over and over again until they've gotten into the habit of crawling.
My "soon to be crawling" Granddaughter will love it. She primarily slides on the floor, hoping that these will assist her in remaining on her hands and knees.
This item was purchased for my six-month-old son, who has just started crawling. The material is satisfactory; the socks are a little large, but that is to be expected; he will grow into them. The only thing I don't like about it is how tight the knee guards are. Even though the baby is of average weight for his age and does not have the thickest legs, it was still a problem. It was necessary for me to cut the elastic. It sort of defeats the purpose of purchasing it.
