As it appears that this item is red, it's really raspberry red. Turned out to be a disappointment that there is not a true red color in it. The rest of the colors are also very nice and will compliment.

This is an excellent medium size, the colors are beautiful and the quality is excellent. There are so many colors included in this set. Neither my 1 year old nor my 3 year old have any problems with them.
