There will be no disappointment for you. The first ones I bought were for my new granddaughter & her friends Although they are awesome, they do not fit her since she's only about two months old. I think it would make a great gift, too. The only problem is that I think they are too small and disproportionately heavy There isn't much stretch in them. Those are the ones I recommend for newborns. There was a fine print that I didn't read.

It's really cute to have matching mittens and a hospital style hat together. We found them to be great for our little one when she was a newborn. Quality is ok, however the hats are thin and frail. You might need something else for cold climates. It works well for hot climates, but could be inadequate in cold climates.

This is a very good product with the same material as hospital gowns, but my baby did not like it because the bow is too low on her head and I cannot adjust it because the bow is stuck in that position, and I do not want anything hanging from the crown.
