While I do think that this hat is suitable for swimming, I did not enjoy wearing it at all. As far as I can see, the top of the hat is so shallow that it does not stay on. It would be a waste of money to buy this hat, find another one.
There is a Made in China tag on the item. In spite of this hat being manufactured in China, I think the quality is quite good. It actually surprises me quite a bit.
It looks like a lot of the reviews indicate that the hats run small, but could the reviews be outdated? As of right now, my daughter is 2 1/2 years old, and I bought her a size 12 last Summer (2020).
