The set comes in many pieces, or does it contain only one? To spend that much on one set of newborn mittens seems excessive. ?

A single set is all there is. The only ones that fit my premie baby were these. Yes, they are a bit pricey but they made my baby feel comfortable. Most of the ones sold at stores are for older You shouldn't hesitate to get them.

These are perfect for preemies' small For my preemie, these were great as the others would slip off over her fingers too easily and would fall off her wrists

It was only a little disappointing to find they shrank a little, but this has been happening to all baby clothes. You should wash on cold and then let the clothes dry on their own. It was the best mitten of all the ones we tried, including the Goumi kids (not sure if that's how it's spelled), all-natural bamboo mittens, cotton knock-off brands, and the carter kids or something similar. I liked these best, since the elastic was a full band, as opposed to a ribbed band. The elastic strip is thin and elastic. The book would be an excellent choice for babies born prematurely or tiny.

These are much too big. There is no way for me to know what other buyers got, but my gloves are larger than they would be for a baby. I feel like the title and description are inaccurate as well as these are not free to return.

I ordered several different sizes from various places and these were the only ones that I had no problem using them for 6 weeks before my daughter outgrew them. Their quality was excellent, and they were quite durable as well.

The perfect alternative for newborns whose Gerber size is too large! This pair of gloves is amazing! As a newborn glove they are preemie size, the gloves I bought for my sons were born at 38 weeks

The Gerber brand newborn size gloves slide right off when my boys tried to scratch themselves, making them useless. I still use these at 39 weeks when they were no less than eight pounds and 20 inches. They remain one of my absolute favorite baby accessories. In addition to buying these in a variety of colors, I also bought girly ones for all my friends with daughters!.
