My granddaughter is probably average height and weight, but she wore them for several months. For a bigger baby, I believe they'd be fine.
It had been given to me as a present. I am unable to verify it for you because I no longer have it.
So, in my opinion.
A year has passed since my child was born. 25 lbs. The bibs are still comfortable, but they are beginning to feel a little tight.

Choose a different path. I really wanted to get these for my second child because the designs are so adorable and the size is perfect. I also liked that they weren't white so stains could be hidden more easily, but the velcro is terrible. They're effectively unusable unless they're fastened with a binder clip or something else. br>At first, they didn't appear to be very strong, resembling cheap craft dots. After two washes, they had completely lost their grip. I followed the washing instructions to the letter, even air drying some of them to avoid damaging the velcro, but they are no longer closed after only a few uses. Unless you want to make your own fastener, I'd suggest choosing another bib.
Even though I'm not convinced it's organic, I like the design. The hook side of the velcro is falling off, preventing it from sticking to the loop side; additionally, the fallen hook is found in my baby's neck or in the diaper. It irritates the skin of babies quite a bit.
I've tried Dawn dish detergent and two types of Oxiclean, but the lighter colors get stained easily and the stains set in the fabric, making it impossible to remove. I'm usually pretty good at removing stains from clothes, but I think they're being stubborn because they're organic cotton. In addition, after a few months, the velcro's stickiness wore off. I wouldn't buy them again, which is unfortunate because they are adorable.
The velcro no longer sticks after two washes, posing a hazard because the scratchy side rubs against my child's neck as it keeps opening. Snaps must be used in the redesign. Aside from that, it's adorable. I would buy them again if they had snaps instead of velcro.
Drool or spit gets on your clothes and stays there.
I like these bibs a lot, but only after I sewed my own velcro on them. The cotton fabric is excellent, long-lasting, and sufficiently thick. The velcro that comes with it, on the other hand, is very scratchy (baby's neck was scratched) and too far apart; babies with very wide necks would be fine, but spit up always landed above the bib's neckline.
These bibs are made of organic cotton and are fantastic! I knew they'd be well made and soft because I'd already bought the matching onesies. The Velcro is the only aspect of the design that I would change if I could. Instead, I'd go with snaps. The embroidery on this item is exceptional!.
They are extremely soft and well-made. I can't comment on the absorption properties because they haven't been used yet. She intends to use them as decorations for her upcoming baby shower.
