I have a three-month-old baby girl who is of average size, and she is in the 0-year-old category. The socks for 6 months were too small (see first photo). I sent them back and placed an order for six more. I purchased the 12 month size in the hopes that they would be too big for her at first, but that she could grow into them. Nope, they didn't even come close to fitting her. She'll most likely outgrow them in a month, and who knows how much they'll shrink in the washer and dryer. I'll have to return these. I would not recommend it, which is a shame because I really liked the colorful packs and the style.
My 12-month-old daughter is two and a half months old. 5 lbs. , 23 oz. The length is 5 inches. She has thin feet and prefers to wear Gerber wiggle proof socks, which are great but quite thick. These Fruit of the Loom socks are light and airy, perfect for the warmer months, and they perfectly fit her feet. They're very stretchy, more athletic in fit, and there's plenty of room for her feet to grow bigger (but not longer; I suspect I'll be buying the next size up soon, but that's my fault for giving birth to giants). The colors are vibrant, and this set includes a sock that will go with almost any outfit she owns. There are small grips on the bottom with the brand name and sock size labeled, so they'll be easy to find in the sea of different size socks we'll eventually have. Overall, this was an excellent purchase, and I will definitely consider Fruit of the Loom for my next baby sock purchase!.
In my opinion, they lost on all levels. br>This is far too small. I was given the number six. They're a size 12 right now, and they're too small for my 6-month-old's feet even before they've been washed. They're so thin you can see through them when they're stretched at all, and she's small to average in size. br>And she's small to average in size. br>The stretch is fine in some places, except for the thinness factor, and then there's the fact that the grippy words don't stretch at all on the entire bottom of the foot, so it leaves odd visible holes where the stretchy sock is attempting to pull away from the non-stretchy sock. words with a lot of meaning br>Also, after just one wear and wash, they've pilled all over the place. Definitely not something I'd recommend.
Order 1- You should order two sizes bigger than you require. I placed an order for the 6-pack. 12mo socks that are sadly too small for my 5 month old (who is only 10 on all growth charts). I'm disappointed because I can't return these because I threw away the packaging. It was a waste of money. If not two sizes larger, order one size larger.
I placed an order for the 6-pack. My 7-month-old is wearing a 12 month size, which is far too small and easily falls off. They're also quite slim. Not a good idea.
I wish I could purchase a 14-pack of all the same color. Socks of excellent quality with only a few non-essential features. Although having 14 socks that are each a different color (and some of the color differences are subtle) is a recipe for disaster, slip writing on the bottom will be nice down the road. Three colors, for example, would have sufficed. br>br>For the price, it's still an excellent product.
The 6- My two-month-old was perfectly fitted in a 12 month size (he was wearing a 6-month size). At the time, I was dressed as a 9-month-old baby. Now that he's three months old, it's time to start thinking about what he wants to do with 9-inch heels Clothing for 12 months, and the socks that once fit perfectly are now too small. So I'm returning to get the next size up (size 12-). 24mo. We'll see how long they'll stay in place). It's strange to think that the socks for 12 month olds are the same ones I need for my three-month-old. He's average height for his age, but not THAT average height. The sizes listed don't seem to be very accurate to me. would recommend that the baby's clothing size be matched to the smallest sock size. br>br>**UPDATE** The 12-month period has ended. While he was three years old, he could wear 24 month socks. The baby is 7 months old. The socks do not stay on at 8 months (he wears 12 month clothes, which are a little big for his age). I went up a size in size. When they arrived, I couldn't believe how much bigger they were! I snapped a photo of the current "12-month" calendar. Next to the next size up (2t-) is "24 month. " 4t), which is also attached to this review. I'll have to find him some other socks until his feet grow a few more inches and he can fit into the new ones. Regrettably, the ones that are currently available do not fit. They're nice socks, but the sizing is all over the place. br>br>For babies, make a very high guess (like 3 - 5). They're 9 months along in comparison to the clothes they're wearing. Is it possible that the measurements for toddlers are correct?.
I had been buying Gerber socks that never fell off before, but they were getting a little tight around the ankles on my 6 month old, and I wanted to get some with grippy bottoms now that she's starting to use a walker. This pair of socks is constantly falling off. When my husband is near my daughter, he has to tuck her pants into her socks to keep them on, and she now looks ridiculous all of the time; I will not purchase them again.
