The bathing suit is of high quality. Here is the suit for your child, if you want him/her to look like an American. My first thought was that I heard the cry of a bald eagle when I unpacked it. In this case, Betsy Ross stitched them herself in such clarity that they could possibly be the Original Stars and Stripes of America. On the 4th of July my son was walking along the edge of the pool and several people saluted him. Women applauded, and the Star Spangled Banner (as played by Jimmy Hendrix at Woodstock) played from somewhere beyond.
The picture looked so adorable and my kids love the American flag, so I bought one suit for each of them as part of their Easter basket. When they arrived, I was truly disappointed to discover that one of them is a knockoff There's no power. There were two sizes available - "S/8" and "L/7" There is no difference between them. As illustrated in the illustration, the star prints are different in the suit and the white is pink while the red running is red. I'm very disappointed in both of them so I'm sending them Amazon seems to source clothing more often than not from China, so I am always cautious when ordering clothing from them.
The size pictured does not exist. I wish these had been closer to what I expected. This is the 24 month size that I ordered A large group of people gathered together. My pants did not have a drawstring waist or a side pocket. The pants shown in the picture have a drawstring waist and a side I thought maybe the larger sizes would have a drawstring, and maybe it was just the smaller sizes that were lacking a drawstring, since other reviews mentioned the same problem, but didn't specify the size. There is a GENEROUS cut to these pants. They have a very wide waist with just elastic, and they have very long, wide legs. It might be possible to fit a four-year-old in the 24 month size. I had to take them off of my toddler because they were hopelessly loose and falling off. Dries out. If they got wet, they certainly wouldn't have been able to work. While I was expecting baby swim trunks with drawstrings, I'm not getting exactly what I expected. The company must have changed the product, because what's pictured is definitely not what you get.
As soon as I read the reviews I was not interested in buying these as there were no pockets or drawstrings. My son is a couple of months over a year old and weighs about 24 lbs. Generally, he is 18-27 years old and I would suggest downsizing for him definitely he tends to be in the 18-27 year range To give you an idea, here are the clothes for 24 months.
They are awesome, I went so far as to order a pair for my husband too. The top is fun, comfy and I went a size up since my son is 8yrs old and has a husky build so I got a 14-inch shirt I wore a size 16 and it fit I thought the color of the shirt was very good, the length was fine, and the material was great. It is recommended.
It's a nice pair of shorts with bright colors. I found the inseam thread to be very rough, and my child was in a lot of pain while at the beach. The red rash was caused by salt water touching it, causing it to burn.
I love the print and all, but there are thick and rough seams inside. In contrast to most better and more expensive surf shorts, these aren't flat. I can now understand why they are better in the end, despite the cost. My son commented after they had been in the pool for an hour, "they're burning!". Poor kid, his legs were sore, and he had a sore back for Neither he nor she has anything to do with.
The shirts I ordered for my grandson are great for him and his dad Whenever pop gets in the water, his bathing suit will match. It is the exact one that I purchased for my husband from the same brand. The shorts in size 24 months do not have mesh lining, drawstrings or side pockets, but they are just plain shorts. It is impossible for me to return items that I bought months ago and put away for the 4th of July. There's no big deal my grandson just has a pair of shorts. I also ordered a bathing suit from Old Navy with the American flag, so they will still match, but not quite.
