There is supposed to be a little bit of a snug fit, but I feel as though they are a little tight. My child has had a bag of sugar since I put him to bed, and it is almost as hard to get these off when they are moist. My rating will still be 4 stars, since I am willing to use them in the future. I need to get a second person to help me remove them. In 4T pants, my son is a perfect fit, and that's the size that I bought. If you want to keep them as effective as they are supposed to be, going up a size would not necessarily be a good idea.
