The cotton is combed and ring spun, which is the softest type of fabric you can get. As you wash them, you will find that they become softer. No gaps are visible because there is just a slight overlap. A couple of times baby's foot caught in the holes between the snaps. However, only at night and not so much that it became an issue. It was a great product for us, and if baby had not outgrown it we would continue to buy it.

Gowns are available in 6 month sizes. My 8-inch body is too big to fit into the Gerber gown It has been a month since that baby pound was born. According to the label, this gown is a 0-size Adding 3 months and you can see how big it is now. When she is 3 months old, she MAY be able to fit into this gown! It is a shame, as these gowns are very soft and I love that they snap shut instead of having to be strapped to I guess I will have to wait until they are ready to enjoy.

As of now I have given it a 3/5 because the quality does not seem as nice as other organic gowns I've received recently It was very nice to work with Parade Organics). Due to other reviews, we took a chance on this one based on other reviews after searching for a lightweight sleep gown for our son during hot summer months with highs above 100 degrees during the day. Due to the summer heat, both my husband and I prefer to sleep with our ceiling fan on high, but we noticed that our baby's hands and feet were cold in only his onesie in the morning. The gown extended just over his hands, so he did not need to wear gloves. It was also easy to change diapers thanks to the snaps. Baby did not overheat, which is the best part. In other words, if our ceiling fan were not on full blast, the fabric would be too thick to be comfortable. But it was thin enough that he was comfortably warm. Since his feet are extending past the hem of the gown, he has already outgrown this gown, so we will definitely be purchasing the next larger size.
