Questions & Answers
As a devoted purchaser of muck boots. I always buy my children's clothes in their true sizes, but I've found that Mucks run a little large in length but are difficult to put on.
This design is, in fact, waterproof. Thanks!
No, I did the same thing with my son. I bought a size 6 for him because he wears a size 5. He says his socks are comfortable and that he wears two pairs.
They're being worn by my twin 4-year-olds. They are not heavier than any other boot, in my opinion. I have four children, and we've probably bought at least eight pairs of shoes over the years. They're rain and snow boots for us. They are extremely warm and waterproof, and they work well in the mud in the winter, spring, and fall.

I'm a true women's size 8, so I was thrilled to discover that a size 6 Big Kids was just right for me! They have a molded footbed that is very comfortable and aren't as "heavy" as adult sizes (I didn't want to feel like I was walking around in cinder blocks). I have not yet worn them in the snow, but I expect them to keep my feet warm and dry. I am relieved to know that my feet will stay dry when walking through puddles during rainy weather. The best part is that they cost half as much as adult sizes! My feet are delighted, especially after the recent snowstorm in the Southeast that dumped a foot of snow followed by a slushy mess; I only wish I had them for that! Muck Boots responded to one of the questions or reviews, and they said that to get BIG child sizing, take your adult women's size and subtract two, and it worked perfectly! I now own a pair of Muck Boots, which is fantastic!.
Muck boots should be able to deliver more. Muck has always been a favorite of mine and my two sons. My three-year-old wears boots that have been passed down through four generations. Last year, my 6-year-old wore a pair that had been through three children. This year, I couldn't find the right size used, so I had to purchase a new one. They'll be lucky if they make it through the winter. He's only had them for a month, but the rubber is cracked, the thin black ring on the top of the toe has peeled off, and the outside fabric on the calves has already begun to pull away from the boot.
5 and bought myself a pair of big kids size 6 muck boots for half the price of a pair of muck boots. They're a little big, and my heels slide around a little, but that's been the case with every pair of muck boots I've ever owned, and it allows me to wear thick winter socks with them. I wish the shaft was narrower because it always gapes around the top on me, but it is easy to tuck in pants. br>br>My boots arrived in a box that was supposed to be for a different boot, which was strange, but the correct boots arrived.
A 7 is my usual size. In women's, I wear a size 5 or 8 (usually loose), and I bought the boots in a size 6 youth. I thought they were too small the first time I tried them on. However, they are an ideal match for me. The soles have a good amount of cushioning against gravel and don't slide around too much in mud. Without a doubt, I will purchase another pair!.
br>This year, I was going hunting with my 9-year-old daughter, and I wanted her to be more comfortable. Muck Boots are a favorite of mine. br>I ordered a pair for her for $39 plus shipping - They were absolutely fantastic. Even when it was 40 degrees and raining, her feet were always comfortable and warm. We killed a buck and the hunt was over after she ran 15 miles in them over two days. She'll be able to walk around the property in some nicer boots now.
I prefer the Kid's Muck Boots to the Adult version because they are less expensive. I do, however, use a thin foot sole liner because these are bad for your lower back if you walk to work. Again, I'm asking the world for children's boots, so I'm responsible for that. Don't make a phone call to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). I had a pair that I wore to work every week for three years (waterproof feet are required)! The more worn out the boots are, the more hand warmers you can stuff in the toes. They don't stretch much, but they do become more comfortable with use. You could use that late-night TV as a waterproofing gel, but I don't have the time. These are great for sleety, wet weather. Because the neoprene retains heat well, don't wear these when it's raining hard in the Spring, or you'll freeze to death by the time you get to Brunch. You can walk on a frozen lake, but temperatures below 35°F (about 15°C) are preferable. After a long period of time outside, your feet will become cold, and the child will outgrow them before they become worn out. So, once your child reaches your shoe size (I'm a woman's size 7), order these. I'm 5 (38) and prefer children's clothing in the size 6 range. It's a good fit, but not with big, bulky socks. Over the course of the year, the color palette has ranged from conservative to "holy cow, those are loud. " Enjoy!.
They're much more comfortable to walk in than snowboots, and they're great for hill hikes and waterfall visits, as well as creek play. They're also great because they can be used for multiple seasons. Because we didn't get any snow this year, I squandered $50 on a pair of kid's snowboots that are in excellent condition but will be too small for next year. I wasn't hesitant to pay the extra cost for Muck boots once I discovered them. season everything - Boot with a specific purpose. br>br>I'd say they're true to size, if not a tad on the small side. Next time, I'll size up to allow for growth and the possibility of wearing a wool sock.
5 or 9. I wear a size 9 in women's clothing and purchased a size 7 in large children's clothing. These are a good fit, with enough room for a medium-thickness sock. I don't like having my feet restricted, so a thick (hunting or hiking) sock would be impossible to wear with these. However, these go well with my regular socks, and thin socks (such as liner socks) will work if my feet are swollen. There isn't much support, and they're not particularly cushioned. Because my regular muck boots are the same, I assumed this was the case. This falls mid-calf on me at 5'5". I have thick calves as well, and this boot, thankfully, does not squeeze them! I just needed something to walk around the yard in without having to dig out my big clunky mucks first thing in the morning. This is exactly what I needed! In addition, the tread is excellent. Another reason I bought these shoes is that mud and gunk simply fall out. br>The upper is a cute fun print that isn't as vibrant as it appears in the photo.
