I use it in place of how it was intended, however, because I want to hold my Infant Optics DXR-200 A baby monitor camera with 8 lenses. As an engineer mama, I needed a solution that didn't mount directly to the crib, didn't rely on any sticky substances, or asked me to drill into Due to a hole in the camera base for a screw mount, I thought that using a regular tripod might be a good idea. In my quest to find a tripod suitable for my purposes, I came across this model and thought I would give it a shot. I am happy to say that it works great for my needs! For peace of mind, it would be better if the flat support were half an inch wide, but it's not moving around or otherwise unstable because it's used while stationary. This allowed me to angle my camera down without worry. Also, I attached the cable to the pole arm with white Velcro cable ties to make it look more tidy Having the cable or camera inside my baby's crib is a total win in my book as I can now see inside his crib and he can't reach them anymore! It's even super portable when used as the baby camera mount, since it folds so small. To top it all off, I can use it as a selfie stick/tripod AND it's super convenient for filming kids since it folds so small. The only thing I would have liked is for the tripod to be a few inches taller, as I have to have it at a distance more than baby's arm's length, but it's a minor problem that can be fixed with a box. To take perfect group photos, I bought a tripod to use for taking photos and watching videos for my testing of various devices. The fact that I held it in my hand caused some blurriness and shake in my videos and photos as I know that just holding it causes some blurriness and shake. It is quite sturdy and the length is quite helpful - I can stand it directly on the ground without adding books at the bottom. I have used different tripods before, and all of them had issues with the tripod stand becoming wobbly, but this tripod was quite sturdy and also quite long. The selfie stick plus tripod stand is a great choice for anyone looking for a selfie stick.

I really like the all in one design, kinda looks like a baton. mode, this setup flops because it is very unsteady and there is a good chance it could be tipped over by hand or if it is very windy! The construction is good and strong! I don't think I'll tip it over if no one is around or if wind doesn't blow! This product is built to last with a three year warranty and comes with a Bluetooth controller that is rechargeable and can be used with a USB cord, so there is no need for any third-party app!.

It was fairly sturdy, but not too sturdy.
