In order to record sounds at my singing parties, I bought this Veksun ASMR Microphone. A digital HD camcorder and my Samsung phone were the instruments I used. The result is obvious. The high quality of the recording has been ruined by the built-in microphone of the camcorder. As a result of using the ASMR microphone at 0 dB, the recordings are very clear and fidelity is enhanced. With the 20 dB setting, you can record with higher amplification, which is good for long-term recordings While it picks up some sound from a distance, it also picks up some noise.

There are three options, off, 0 dB and 20, I personally prefer setting the volume to 0 dB.

The mic I use doesn't really produce the best sound for what I'm using it for, and for something like that I'd need something more elaborate and costly. However, it is definitely more than adequate. It does its job, but the sound is not very impressive. My only wish is for a bit more depth in the sound, as it does exactly what I need. I can get a decent recording using the 0dB setting, but you have to be pretty much directly in front of the microphone to get a decent recording. Despite the +20's ability to gather a great deal of sound, it often requires a lot of post-production adjustment. I can't complain too much because the rest of the setup has been great as well. Though I thought the tripod and camera mount would be low-quality, I ended up getting much more than what This is a good starter kit for people wanting to try vlogging or for people looking for some extra power for their phone microphone.

Purchase it at your own risk. This is junk in every sense of the word. If you have a tripod, your phone will be able to hold it, as well as adjust where it is. As a test, I tried the mike (within my relatively quiet apartment) and found that it sounded similar to the mike on my phone. I know it looks like junk plastic, but it actually feels the same.
