While the tripod itself is great, the rest of it are pretty flimsy and will likely break or crack after a while. Obviously, the light is not so intense, so if you need it as a light source in a dark environment, it might be okay, but for supplemental or fill light, it isn't so good. quality of the mic isn't any better than the one found on a There is a direct correlation between what you pay for and what you get.
This gift was a nice gift for my 11 year old nephew, but it was a little heavy and would have been more useful with a lightning connector.
