Worked but not for me

This is not the case in the US model for the iPhone 12 Pro with dual tray.
I used it on a US model and it did not work.
To acquire one, you will need to purchase a model A1208 from Hong Kong. While this model is the same as the US model, it has two physical SIM cards instead of one. I would not recommend ordering this tray since it won't.
