It was nearly impossible to replace the back cover of my cell phone with a similar one. That's right! I did it! I did not notice a difference in the covers after they were replaced since I am not a Samsung Technician. All the items needed to replace the back cover were included in the kit. There are a few areas where this product could get a 5 star rating from me a) there were no directions enclosed with the product! I would have been at a loss if I hadn't seen a video on how to replace the back cover! The instructions are all on the three screens you see when you order the product tear off the back cover, remove the adhesive, then place the cover on top. That's all there is to 1) On the suction cup I could not separate the back cover from the phone, regardless of how much it was heated. As long as this is the product I need to replace the back cover of my cell phone and the camera lens with, I would order it again if it matched the original.

There is no point in buying this product. Due to the fact that my phone fell out of my pocket and landed on my inbox, I received it today A piece of floor tiles shattered in the corner at the top left corner of the screen, and the screen was cracked. Having just received it today, I can't seem to get in between the bezel and the screen because the tools are WAY too thick. However, even after applying so much heat to the edges of the screen where the adhesive is, I was still unable to lift the back screen enough to get the pick between it and the bezel using either the plastic picks or the suction cup. I have been trying this for an hour straight, but I am still having trouble. This Friday, I will just take my phone to a repair shop and have them use the screen I received with the kit to replace the one that's broken so they won't have to order one and I won't be without a phone for long.

A few months after I paid the deductible in my cell phone insurance policy and had the phone "professionally" repaired, the back of the phone came off. Since it was only $150, I decided to try to fix it myself rather than let it become more complicated. In this case, the replacement back is the same quality, if not better, than the one used by the so-called All it took me was 3 minutes to assemble and it looks and functions just fine. There is a way to remove the adhesive from the back of the phone, but you really need to heat the back of the phone. Unfortunately, I did not find this kit to include the tool that I found most useful You can get one from a razor blade shop. Due to the fact that some people don't keep razor blades in their house/apartment, I decided to mention it since I would not have been able to accomplish this without it (along with a playing card, which was extremely helpful).

Plastic is what you see here. But I must say that it looks exactly like the original back and it comes with all the tools, so I score it with two stars instead of just one. My initial reaction was that I wasn't quite sure if this was plastic or just a new-looking material The second time I have purchased a back that feels like plastic (from differing sellers), I was surprised at how thick and heavy it was. I have no doubt that this is plastic once I have the original back off my phone and compare it against the replacement.

The back of the phone was heated up using a hair dryer before the back glass was removed. Since my back glass was shattered, pieces flew all over the place while I was removing it. There were all the tools included in this kit but one of the blue guitar picks broke in half while being used. The new glass was easy to install and I am very satisfied with my own ability and the glass replacement in general. I received a quote from a cell phone repair place for For $20 and 15 minutes of my time, I did it myself.
