I tested them on my iPhone Xs and they work perfectly
Taking out the plug is not a difficult task for me. As a matter of fact, my case prevents it from coming to light on its own. The various cases and how this would work are something I do not know about. In my phone's case there is a simple thin one. Any case should protect the plug, I would think.
I highly doubt that it will prevent water from getting in. It may be able to do so The best thing to do would probably be to find a water case or bag, since I presume you will also want to protect your speakers and buttons.
The reason for not doing so is not clear to me. Since I have an iPhone 6s and an iPhone 8 Plus, I have been using the same kit. The Lightning connectors on each device are the same as on My only experience is that I have used two of the 10 covers (one for the iPad and one for the You won't have to worry about lint getting into your charging port with these.

Now I don't see that being an issue because this product does exactly what it's intended to do, it's a wireless charger that'll charge many devices at the same time.
These things are very much to my liking. Pocket lint gets into the lightning port of the iPhone just in case you were unaware of this. The Lightning plug works like a trash compactor, pressing lint into the port every time you plug it in. It only takes a few years to see that you can't use the Lightning plug anymore, or you wake up to a phone that isn't charging. Initially, it may seem alarming before you begin to figure out what is The problem is that these tiny ports can be very difficult to clean once you figure them out. The new iPhone SE I bought has wireless charging built in, and I wanted to plug it in and eliminate this issue.
There is no problem with these plugs. A tight fit and an ability to stay in place make them the perfect choice. I find, however, that they're very small, hard to handle, and difficult to install, especially if you have hot dogs for fingers like I have. Getting both ends inside was the easiest way for me. Start with a angled end, then squeeze the other into place. My plug would squish rather than push in when I attempted to push it directly It takes some effort, and you must try several times before it becomes easier. It would not be worth the effort if I had to remove it after charging my phone every day. If, however, you use the Lightning port extremely rarely, this is a good, cheap way to protect it. I use Apple's case, which is open at A small bumper is added to the bottom edge by adding this plug. I'm so glad!.
Two times now, my husband has had to bring his iPhone to the Apple store, assuming that he would either have to pay a lot for a port repair or get a new had stopped working both times and the plug would not fit into the charging port. The genius bar simply cleaned lint out of the plug socket, and the plug fit like a charm again! As a result, he now just plugs in the charger port and uses a QI network to charge. Usage of a regular cable is limited to that which is As we have seen, his jeans go in and out of the phone all day at work, so it is inevitable that the phone would accumulate lint. It was suggested by the girl at the Apple genius bar, and it was a great.
In the past, I had one with a higher profile. It was nice, but these seem to be In my case, I put it in the lightning port since I don't actually use it for wired charging any more. There has been no movement of the plug throughout the day. The new plug does not leave any impression with me, it stays flush inside the lightning port hole of my case and fits much better than the high-profile plug.
In most cases, the plugs are difficult to insert when your phone case protrudes outward from the cable port. I wish this cable came with some type of string so that the plug could be accessed more easily. The value for money is okay, but since these are small and there is no string attached, they are easy to lose. I guess it depends on how many times I have to purchase these in the future.
I had to have my iPhone 5s cleaned by a technician at my local Apple store due to it not charging consistently & refusing to connect. Despite my best efforts, I could not clean it effectively. I'm not going to let that happen now that I've got a new iPhone 7. In my search for anti-virus software, I found these It is amazing how good these lightning port plugs are. I've never worn anything like this before. You can easily go in and out of the building. Each box contains ten, so you have no reason to worry if you lose one. The battery has just been taken out of the case to be charged As I sit in front of my computer On the morning after seeing it, I plug it in and I find my iPhone in my pocket without any pocket dirt or dust. Getting the link into the port was perfect. This is exactly what I was looking for.
In their intended state, these do work well. In addition to providing additional dirt/lint protection, they also stay in place. The tubes are very narrow on all sides and will require some dexterity on the part of the user. Other USB-driven devices have been used by me before The C covers have a longer "insertion" side so that the plugs fit precisely into the ports. This helped guide the plugs to the right place. Compared to other pieces, these are much more cylindrical, so the insertion side is quite It does mean that the insertion needs to be done just right, but I'm not sure if it's a Lightning requirement (I'm not sure why would it be).
It works very well for them. My phone won't get soiled in any way if I rest it on any surface, as lint, dust, and water will be kept out. Their small size fits nicely into iPhone ports, and they are easily removed. Unfortunately, they're very small, so they're easy to forget or lose as well. In order to keep the price low, I wish they would give more than 9 tabs in the bag for what you are paying. These tiny plastic specks must cost virtually nothing to produce since they are so tiny.
