It is waterproof, and I tested it on my Samsung Galaxy 9 with a case. First, I put it to the test in my sink, and then it was time for the real thing. I used it to swim with manta rays in the South Pacific Seas, and it held up well. br>And now for the bad news. Your camera will not perform as well as it would if it were in a hard case or even a water camera because it is technically a bag. br>Flash is ineffective because the plastic's reflection will simply reflect it back, washing out the image. br>While the case is touch sensitive and DRY, it would be useless underwater. This is not the fault of the case; it is simply physics. br>WHILE THE CASE WORKS AS ADVERTISED, IT HAS ITS OWN LIMITATIONS DUE TO PHYSICS AND OTHER REAL-WORLD LIMITATIONS BECAUSE IT IS JUST A FANCY PLASTIC BAG. br>My suggestion is that, due to the inherent limitations, it should only be used in an emergency. If you want to take underwater videos or photos for an extended period of time, I recommend purchasing a water camera or a waterproof go-pro. br>In my opinion, this would be good for a backyard swim party or somewhere where you would be exposed to a lot of water, but not for a scuba dive or anywhere where you would be submerged for an extended period of time and need to manipulate the camera buttons, etc.

I was wary of this product at first, but I decided to give it a shot. I did a wet test on it first, keeping it in a bowl of water for the entire night, as suggested. It actually floats. Even in the morning, the paper towel was dry. It's been great for me in the pool. Product of high quality.

As a result, this is the second waterproof case I've bought. It is unquestionably secure and waterproof, but the plastic appears to dull quickly, affecting picture quality. So the photos are great and clear at first, but then they become extremely blurry, making it difficult to capture a good image. This was the one I used during my vacation. I went snorkeling and had a great time on the first day. The issue with any of these types of cases is that due to the water pressure, the phone is difficult to operate while submerged. It is unable to detect the pressure applied to the controls by your finger. For this, there are a few workarounds - While the pouch is out of the water, open the camera, then take it down and take pictures with the side button rather than the screen button. It's a little trickier with videos - Remove the pouch from the water once more and begin video recording. The pouch should then be submerged and video should be continued. A few more things to consider: Because the bulk of the plastic is on the side, the side button to take photos isn't the easiest to operate. Also, the phone is loose in the pouch when it is in there. So, when taking underwater photos, if the lens isn't against the side, you won't get a good shot - You can see why, but there's no way to get the phone to sit flush against the pouch's side. br>In short, it works, it's waterproof, but operating it underwater is difficult. The necktie is my favorite part. With the other pouch around my neck, I've been boogie boarding, and it's stayed put even as the waves tossed me around. I was able to let go of the pouch and leave it around my neck while snorkeling thanks to this pouch. br>It would also work well if you just wanted to put your credit card and/or keys in there and throw them in the water.

I put my ID and credit cards in the case as well, and I was still able to use it underwater for photos and videos! I would strongly suggest it.

This is a fantastic product that does exactly what it says on the tin. I like how the bag opens and closes with a clasping mechanism that sets it apart from other waterproof phone cases I've tried. I used a phone and a paper towel to test this product. I put a sheet of paper towel in the bag, sealed it, and put it in the water for a few minutes. There was no sign of water leakage inside when I removed it, and after the test, I placed my phone inside the case, which also emerged dry and safe. Wherever I go, I'll bring this with me.

This is a well-made case for using your phone in or near water. I have a fairly large phone (the Pixel 3xl), and it still fits inside (albeit a little snugly), but I was able to use all of the features I wanted, including the touch screen and camera for some fun underwater photos. br>The clamp feels very secure, and I haven't had any problems with it in my month of use, but it is still made of plastic, so it could break if thrown in a large bag with other beach gear or if stepped on. br>I like that there are two casings, but blue isn't my favorite color, so I gave that one to a friend. br>Full disclosure: I was sent this product to test by SyncWire, but I can honestly say that it is something I would buy on my own and that I will get a lot of use out of it.

On the first test, the touchscreen worked flawlessly, and it is also waterproof. br>Remember to read the manual and follow the instructions, which include first testing the pouches with dry towels!.
