Questions & Answers

Can the dock be used with an otterbox defender case on an iPad Air 2?

Depending on how the second screen interacts with the capacitive touch stick, the cursor may flicker or not register properly, causing unresponsiveness. To be able to use it properly, you will have to remove the cover.

Do you think this is too big for the iPhone You know, I still have to use my other hand to play, so I'm still taking up space. ?

I don't know if it will work with the original iPhone as the screen will be hidden by the case

What is the compatibility of this app with the iPad Mini ?

Touch screen enabled tablets or phones of decent quality will work fine with this. You may run into a problem where it takes up too much screen space.

Is it possible to use in Android devices?

That's not really the case. For that, the shape is not quite right.

It turned out to be better In my experience, gaming controls are more intuitive for me after playing Pong for a decade
5/5

Since I recently acquired a tablet and had read reviews of the Modern Combat games, I started searching for a simple, inexpensive controller that can be used on the go. Having picked up the Second Shells version along with this D pad, I decided to pick up this D pad. My two pads arrived today, so I bought Modern Combat 3 and tried it out right away. As with all pads, each one has its merits and downsides, but both pads worked fine and performed as promised. There are several differences between the Logitech pad, which is larger and has larger suction cups (although both pads stuck excellently), it is more difficult to move the D pad button, and the D pad button is not re-positionable. Rather than centering slowly and inaccurately, the 2nd Shell version centers more rapidly. A pouch is included with the Logitech pad. Logitech's version of the Second Shells pad is slightly bigger, has less resistance when moving the D pad button, and centers slightly slower. In addition to this, the Second Shell's version also includes two awesome buttons. There are some differences between the pads besides the extra pack ins. The major difference is the springs that each pad has. They are made from rigid plastic on the Logitech pad, whereas they are made from rubber on Second Shell's pad. While it appears that Logitech's pad's rigid plastic springs would break more easily, because they are more rigid, they feel like an analog stick when you move it and they automatically redirect the movement when you stop moving them This pad allows for a more rapid and accurate centering than Second Shells. The best way to get the best of both worlds is to pick up both brands at once, as I did, so you get the best of both worlds Having two buttons, two ties, and a pouch is all you need.

Some people that did not give this product a positive review were likely trying to use it for games that do not have a circular, analog, type D pad. For example, I have seen some games that use the + sign D pad in them and this might not work as well with those I am now using the two pads for the first time and can not imagine playing without them anymore, and I have never expected them to be so good. Every one of them has merits of its own.

The product is a good value for the price
5/5

The first piece lasted for about 30 hours of play before it broke close to an anchor point and with my fingers moving everywhere, I couldn't figure out what happened.

A winner has been found for Logitech
3/5

In any case, I bought this purely because of the price and reputation, since I typically do not play action games on my The hardware does have the usual Logitech "extra" step of engineering design and quality that all accessories tend to carry. (There may be.

There were high expectations for this product, but it did not live up to Plastic is the only material utilized, and it feels as if it could break at any moment

There is also a great deal of randomness with regards to movement being registered in the game. In reality, I find it easier to use the directions in the virtual game rather than this product. My thought was that it would be worth a shot as it was so cheap, but you may want to save yourself.

The iPad mini is not the best device for this
3/5

I would not recommend using this item with the iPad mini due to its large size. There is a possibility it works however, it may be difficult to mount without blocking Aspects of functionality- According to my opinion, it was adequate, but by no means excellent. Although it worked properly, it sometimes failed to recognize the start of the game for a few seconds, which leads to negative consequences while gaming.

Apparently it's not worth it for my nephew
3/5

The iPad is the game he plays on with my nephew, who is 8. In this game, he uses a digital joystick, so I thought a digital joystick would be more convenient. The digital version is more appealing to him. The main reason it is such an inconvenience is because it requires a lot of effort to apply (even though it is just two suction cups) and because it doesn't enhance the experience at all.

All in all, this is not the best for Minecraft
3/5

What it advertises does it's job, but I expected a bit more than what I received. Using this for minecraft PE, but it appears that the option for both view and movement controls to be a virtual joystick (which would be ideal for this) has been removed, so I have to make due with just controlling movement by placing this over the virtual d-pad. Swipe-to-focus on a pad and continue to use that horrible method This was the turn interface I was attempting to change. This does the job well, but I took off stars for the spring being too stiff (you can move it only half the radius of the outer circle A rubber spring, instead of plastic, is what every single other spring is made of You have to be careful when using it because it tends to move around in the suction cups). Despite the poor quality of the build, I was very disappointed with my experience, but it's worth remembering that part of the problem was due to the application I tried to use it for, and part of it was due to the application itself. The only thing I wish logitech had done was provided some kind of software support for the ipad to make this easier to use, but I admit that even I don't fully understand The conclusion from all of this is that this could work for some apps, as long as you don't mind a short lifespan and having it move around, but it's not a good fit for Minecraft.
