Taking money for granted is a waste. This type of controller is not typically supported by most games. I don't see the point of the Octopus app. The Oct app is a linkage tool that you use after you have paid for your games, since some games do not support Bluetooth gamepads, which is why you have to pay more after buying your games. I think this is a scam because nothing was explained on Amazon or at the very least the game controllers are quite dated. Having a Note 9 doesn't allow me to play most of my games, including NBA, Call of Duty, and Mario Cart. The controller was excellent but some games didn't work, which was frustrating because few of your friends play them. 2 stars for the controller and 3 stars for the games that worked.

It seems a bit generous to give it four stars, but it does what it has to do for me. Specifically, I purchased this controller to turn my tablet into a handheld console that can stream from my PC (think the Switch but with a large display and a powerful GPU behind it) and I have used it for about one hundred hours now. It syncs with both recent versions of the Amazon Fire HD 8 and HD 10 tablets, but it wouldn't work with any of our older generations of Amazon tablets. This is in line with other inquiries and comments that it works fine with other Android devices. Because of the way my streaming client handles button assignments, I did not have to worry about it. In the manual, there is a link for a free third party app that can help you assign buttons to your Android or iOS game when necessary. I believe it's well worth the price for the quality it provides This controller has a sturdy build. The sticks are stiff and have an adequate resistance, and the buttons do not squish. This case has a sturdy telescoping mechanism and clasp, and the spring provides sufficient tension to hold the tablets securely in its Previously, this telescopic controller relied on a fold out stand to support the bottom edge of the device so it wouldn't slip. There are now rounded edges on the bottom that act as a cradle for the device, making it easier to hold in place. It has never failed on me, even though I charge it every couple days (I don't use it that often). Connecting was easy, I had the oddest connection issue at first, but once I figured out what was wrong, it connected beautifully every time. I love the clicky buttons and I don't notice much latency, at least not to the point that I notice it. Great for emulators and mobile games with controller support. Only downside is the L1 button gets stuck a lot after a while. It is a little irritating, but for the most part, I enjoy.
