A 5-pack with 2 ports each was the best deal for me. A jack was plugged into one and I plugged in the other and everything worked. I was unable to connect a second phone so I tried a different one. I haven't been able to use that one The other devices are only able to charge one device at a time. If you plug in another you have to unplug the first device.
