It was difficult for me to apply it around my nose. I also found the brush head to be heavy, so it hurts your face when it vibrates, as if it were hitting it.
I haven't noticed mine doing this, but I do clean them with my husband's face wash, Cetaphil, every now and then. My aesthetician also recommended that I remove my makeup with unscented baby wipes before cleansing my skin with my PMD and face wash.
Yes, you'll have a blast in the shower with it.

It's an understatement to say that this item is overpriced. I had high hopes for it, but it disappointed me greatly. I was ready to return it as soon as I inserted the battery and turned it on. You're better off spending $5 on a manual brush, which is exactly what I plan to do. I can't believe I paid $100 for this, and I feel like I've been taken advantage of. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY IN THIS WAY.
It's the most user-friendly smart facial cleansing device I have. I like the cordless, battery-operated powering system because it makes it easier to pack and use on the go! In this era of travel, portability is essential! I like that the product is made of silicone because it's so simple to clean, dry, and store after each use. This brush is one of my favorites because it's a one-time-purchase, infinite-use item that only requires the replacement of a single AA battery! br>br>Because I have extremely sensitive skin, I need a gentle face cleansing routine as well as an easy, on-the-go, natural cleansing and make-up routine, which this face cleanser provides. I use the cleanser twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, prior to any getting ready routine I have planned for that day. There are four different vibration modes to choose from, each with a different level of intensity. I select a mode based on the makeup I'm removing from my face and whether I need to concentrate on one area over another. I can feel the dirt and oil from that day's work being broken down by it! I use it with a variety of my favorite face cleansers, as well as with lotions, serums, and moisturizers. My skin feels silky smooth, and it appears clear and healthy, as well as clean! I love that I don't have to wear yesterday's dirt to work the next day! I'm excited to see what PMD comes up with next, and I'll be sure to pick up any additional serums, cleansers, or lotions created to complement the PMD Clean experience.
After four months of use, here's what I've learned: Since I bought it in March, I've used it almost every day and it's my favorite thing ever. Since then (about four days), I've been using it every morning and night. To begin with, I noticed a difference the first time I used it. I'm not sure how to describe it, but my skin felt different in some way. And it's only gotten better as I've used it more. My skin has a softer texture, and I can tell that my cleanser is working harder. I have a few small problem spots with clogged pores that I can't seem to get rid of, and this is slowly clearing them out. br>br>I'm blown away by how much this small device has improved my skin. To be honest, it takes a little longer than my usual routine, but only about two minutes more, and it's well worth it. br>br>It's a must-have! I'm going to tell everyone I know.
I'm furious that I wasted $100 on this nonsense. I wasn't expecting it to clear my skin; I was looking for a replacement for using an abrasive cotton pad to remove my makeup, and it appears to work. If I can stand it, I'm going to put this on my face! No matter how lightly I press my head against my skin, I get the feeling that someone is vibrating it. I can only stand using it for thirty seconds before I get a severe headache. AND NOW, because I signed up for a PMD coupon via text, I'm getting a lot of spam text messages. I'm well aware of my naiveté, and I'm furious!.
When I first tried my PMD Clean Smart Facial Cleansing unit, it did not work. Inside, the paperbr>fell away, preventing the battery from making contact with the contacts. Thankfully, I was able to remove it using a pair of long, thin tweezers. The majority of people who don't have this tool or the knowledge to use a flashlight to check the inside will return it.
My face feels not only clean, but also soft after using it. I also like to use the backside of the cleanser to massage in my vitamin C serum or as a general facial massager. After a spa facial, my skin feels just as good, if not better. I've also included a video that demonstrates how I use it.
Clarisonic brush heads continued to irritate my skin, even after the second use, due to the bacteria they contain. The PMD clean is silicone-based and WILL work for you. NOT. Get you out of here! It's incredibly easy to use, and it has a variety of vibration intensity settings. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and prepared for my PMD personal microdermabrasion! I also enjoy massaging my facial oil into the backside of this! It's like something out of a fantasy!.
