I've had a prior device that was easier to use and the batteries did not need to be changed! When I bought it before, there was a whole cleaning kit included. There was never a repeat issue opening it, but maybe that was just my situation!

My cup of tea isn't yours, but maybe it is for you. To me, an exfoliator that is hard works best. There is no harshness at all in this. To achieve the deep cleansing I wanted (which isn't good for the skin), I would have to press down really hard. Then I bought another Clarisonic and thought it was a bit better - Put brush in the text box. That one left my skin purged (which I believe indicates that it was effective). I never saw any difference in my skin after this one, so I believe it didn't really do deep cleaning. For those with sensitive skin or who are looking for a very gentle brush that won't cause breakouts afterward, this brush may be the perfect choice. I just wasn't happy with what I found.
