My experience with this product over the past few years has been excellent because it has helped with acne scarring, wrinkles, pore tightening, and skin radiance. As part of my regime, I lather with African black soap from SheaMoisture and scrub the pores with this brush. I am 38 years old, and I do not have wrinkles nor under-eye issues. Once the dead skin has been removed, use a Turkish towel to polish it off. During the winter or on days when I'm wearing foundation makeup, I'll repeat twice. It's gentle enough to remove eyeliner and mascara as well. My skin feels really smooth and soft, so I rarely need to use foundation or bb creams anymore. It is horribly painful for my cousin to use tinted makeup my cousin has terrible acne. Almost 2 months later, her skin is almost clear and scarless after I gave her this product, showed her the regimen, and added vitamin C to the routine. She'd been washing her skin with a silicone brush and was amazed at how dirt got on her. She scrubbed first with a white towel that was gray and tan in color. The brush got all the grime out of her pores since she had been plugging them. Despite how filthy it actually was she had not realized until that moment how filthy it really was. It's fantastic and I highly recommend it.
The brush is for the most part pretty soft, but does tend to be a little sharp if I apply too firm Unlike the reviewer who posted a review of the item, I received a grey item. My personal preference is for grey over pink, so I was not disappointed in the color. Nevertheless, many of the bristles were poked into the plastic in a sloppy way and are bent from one hole to another. In addition to not looking good, it adds to the bristle feeling that is sharp. It would have been better if the quality was higher. Perhaps the handle might be a little longer in order to make it easier to hold. The makeup (Urban Decay All Nighter) tends to stain the bristles of my brush after each use as well when I wash my face if I've been wearing makeup.
First of all, let me say how much I love this brush. My target was something small, and something not soft enough to do nothing, but not so rough that it hurts my skin afterwards (I have the habit of not being gentle with brushes). But, I lost my brush, yes, you read that right, my brush was stolen. My dog gave me this gift. One night, as I gave her her usual scratchies, all of a sudden those tears began. The area around her face, near her ears, and by her eyes are the places she loves scratchies the most. So since my nails were short, I didn't think my scratchies would satisfy her, so I pointed my brush at her face and used it on her. I could not find any brush smaller enough for her little face so I used this one! Following that, there was nothing further to say. It was love at first sight for her, As soon as I stopped giving her scratchy brushes with the brush, her eyes would get really droopy and she would drift off to sleep.
Then, I realized that only ONE of us was able to take care of the brush, so who was going to be it? A spoiled pooch like me will use the brush to exfoliate his face or a dog like mine, who will use it to exfoliate his fur. I guess that's how my dog stole the brush I was using, so now I have to buy a second one.
