The pressure on my face caused me to wake up with an ugly bruise on my chin and wrinkles around my eyes. I'm not sure what it does for the chin. Even though I washed it before I used it, it is not a useful product and I would not recommend it. Its only virtue is that it does not have the toxic scent other straps have. Unfortunately, I did not find it effective.
