I use them to trim my brows; all I do is brush the hairs up with a spoolie and then cut - However, I believe you could also use them to trim your eyelashes. I appreciate how sharp they are and how easily they cut. They also include a pink cap to keep you from poking yourself.
No, I don't believe so. These are brow trimmers, and they're a little delicate when it comes to nails.

UPDATE FROM TWO YEARS AGO: My sciccors are still razor-sharp and haven't worn down in the least. I adore this product, and whenever someone asks me what I use on my brows, I tell them to get this! 2018: br>br>2019: br>br>2020: br>br>2020: br>My brows are extremely thick, and my hair grows very quickly. I decided to purchase this so that I could trim them as needed. I really like the cap that comes with the scissors; it's definitely a good safety feature. Your brows will be perfect if you combine this with a pair of tweezers!.
I'm blown away by how well these scissors have been received. Perhaps I was given a bad set. I was given a pair that feels extremely low-cost. At the dollar store, I could have purchased a better pair of scissors. Instead of being cut, the hairs become entangled and rip out. I understand that they are a cheap pair of scissors, but I really wish I had spent the money on a pair with a little more substance because these are useless. I'll see what I can do to get them back to you.

I've been meaning to get the tools I need to do my own brows rather than paying to have them done. I was initially drawn to these scissors because of their low price. As a beginner, I figured using these wouldn't hurt. I like that it's curved because I can make the cut by laying it flat on my brow without poking my eye. I'm not particularly coordinated, especially when I need to use the mirror (I can't seem to remember that facing the mirror means facing away from you). The curved feature of these scissors comes in handy with my clumsy hands because they are very sharp. It also has a cap cover, which is a plus. I can simply toss it into the abyss that is my makeup bag without risking a bloody finger (yes, this has happened before).
So far, the product has been excellent, and it is very delicate-looking. The sharp edge, which is very sharp, is protected by a cover. However, they were covered in hair or fuzz when I received them, so I had to clean them before using them. I didn't think about returning them because I needed them. They are, however, excellent for shaving down brows with care.
