It is not possible to wash the eye pillow. It would get the lavender and flax wet, and that would ruin it, as others have stated. I do, however, sell a cover that fits over the eye pillow like a pillowcase and can be washed in the machine or by hand. They can also be purchased in a set with eye pillows.
Flax seed and dried lavender (organic)
It can be wiped clean but not machine washed; however, I do sell a washable satin cover that can be used over it.
The total weight of the eye pillow is 9 ounces. I'm not sure how much of that weight is made up of seeds and lavender, but I'd say 80 to 90%.

This is something I use with my clients as a massage therapist. It warms up nicely in my towel warmer (though not with towels, due to the moisture!). ) and has a wonderful aroma. I like how heavy it is; it helps me unwind. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little longer so that it could completely block out light and allow me to keep it in place while moving my neck. Some of these eye pillows are nearly $20, and some are even more expensive. This is a fantastic deal, in my opinion. I like that it can be refilled, and I'm thinking of adding some chamomile or more flax seed to it. You might be able to wash it if you really want to, though you'll have to take everything out first. Lavender has a light, pleasant scent for me. The material is adequate for the price; my only wish is for it to be a little longer.
I bought it because it said it was made in the United States. It was marked "Made in China" on the label. It's a good product, but I wish it stated its origins clearly because I bought it for a Japanese friend who can buy her own made in China items if she so desires.
I was excited to try this eye mask, but the truly rancid, non-lavender scent turned me off right away. The mask's material added to my dissatisfaction. Not silky or soft, but scratchy Skin irritation is caused by the filling. eyes. br>At the very least, the mask's obnoxious logo. br>It's time to get back to work.
You'll have to shape it a little to fit your face, but that's not a big deal.
I like the cottony feel of the cover; it's a good buy.
It smells great and isn't overpowering, and it comes in a zip lock bag. I'm glad I made the right decision!.
Because it isn't overly filled, it is the perfect weight and rests comfortably on your eyes. The fragrance is light and airy, but it has a calming effect. It keeps the light out and is just the right weight.
