I'd never considered using a sewing needle before, but after using one for a while, I can tell you that the point is extremely finely tipped and then gradually increases in thickness. I believe the weight of the tool, which provides the necessary pressure, and the length, which allows you to control the pivot as you puncture for release, are the most important aspects of how it works. With a sewing needle, I'm guessing you don't get those advantages because it's so light and requires multiple punctures to release. I hope that was clear.
I have never bought a better extractor! It has an open end for extraction and a needle that can easily open the skin! It's a great investment! I have 2!

Quick delivery and a well-made professional-quality product, but I think I misread the description because it said it would work with Milia. Not in the least. Milia, unlike blemishes, pimples, and other skin lesions, are tough little white cysts firmly attached to the underlying dermis, and the metal hoop on this instrument would not dislodge them even if the epidermis was punctured with the sharpened end. br>DrCC, you have been respectfully submitted. br>.
