Due to the fact that it does not stay screwed together, for real it stinks

It's an awesome piece of jewelry, however, the only drawback I have is because it doesn't come with any grooves where you put it together. It does not stay in place even when I tape it, so I think it is really a bad idea because even though you have it taped, it does not stay in place. Does that mean it is a bad idea because it cannot stay together and still stinks when it is taped?.
