Using LightStim MultiWave® patented technology, four wavelengths of light can be emitted simultaneously. Each LightStim uses a distinct combination of lights. LightStim for Pain has 72 Lights, and LightStim for Wrinkles has 66 Lights. I was somewhat skeptic about it, but reading a lot of reviews and listening to a lot of podcasts convinced me to try it. Since I have had it for about two weeks now, I really think this has worked. My shoulder blades usually get knots near them that are so painful I would die. The pain would shoot past my neck and to the back of my head from my blades. The first time I went to the acupuncturist was 1 Over time, she began to notice that my body wasn't as tight and the knots on my body were softening. Over time, she did acupuncture, cupping, and massage after which my body started to feel less tight. It first appeared to her that I was on some sort of anti-health kick Fortunately, I used the LightStim on the pain, and that's the only thing I changed. I believe it is from the light since I've been doing acupuncture and stuff in addition to this, but however it is, it seems to be working and as of right now, I think it is a coincidence.

I am blown away by the results! The only time I have used my unit since it arrived, it reduced swelling 50% over night in the foot that I had plantar fasciitis in! (I have been told by my ortho to get a shoulder replacement, but my husband had one more than 2 years ago. The surgery was brutal). However, several times a day use of this little device helps with the pain. I also like the Customer Service a lot! I had no problems using it for a couple of months, but it had broken after a few months of heavy usage, but it was guaranteed for 5 years, and the switch was fixed and sent back to me right away. The shipping cost and insurance for sending it back for repair was on me, and I did not have to pay for shipping it back. As an adjunct to medication, I would definitely recommend it. I was able to reduce my use of medications.
Being averse to risk is normal for me after experiencing bad outcomes from surgeries and medications in the past. I was severely restricted in my range of motion because of my injury Even the way I dress myself and bathe has been compromised. Almost three months to the day after receiving the injection, the pain and incapacitation returned. I had one cortisone injection that provided some relief for a while. Even though the LightStim has not completely remedied my shoulder limitations, it has greatly reduced the pain and helped me improve my range of motion. I can now perform most of my ADLS normally with the LightStim. Besides practicing yoga, which I had not done in almost two years, I am also becoming more active.
For the last five days, I have been using LightStim for Pain. I have noticed that the pain in my medial nerve has diminished. In addition, I tried using it on my face to reduce a bruise I have, and I felt that it helped a great deal. This is a product I would highly recommend.
I would rate it 5 stars if it were light. In general, it is a good product. I will give it 5 stars if the light stimulation app is working and if the eye wear is better. This product is excellent in its own right. There is an issue with IOS 11. The light stim app does not work. Please update the app for iOS 10. It works fine on iOS 10. The fact that such a good product lacks an app to control light stim is unfortunate. Furthermore, those eye "caps" that it comes with really bother me. I would like to see better/decent eyewear, a la Tendlite. If only a few minor tweaks were done, it could be a five-star product. When the app is updated, it will update the rating as well. I am thankful for your help.
Using this on recurring spots of pain has been very helpful to both my wife and me. Healing times seem to improve when these things are done, but one cannot be sure how much of it The machine is well designed ergonomically, and it is nice to have an audio tone indicating whether it has come on. This is important since it is often concealed under a shirt or elastic bandage, so you never know whether the light is on or not.
