THIS IS A FAKE PRODUCT. br>br>This is the same price as at your neighborhood Walgreens. When a product in a "sealed" package appeared to be open and used, I noticed something wasn't quite right. Then I noticed that the brand name on the package was printed in a different font and that the description was written in an Asian language. It was, at the very least, returnable. Rather than wasting time, go to the store and purchase tweezers.
This isn't your average tweezerman product. This is the set for you if you want to spend 10 minutes attempting to pluck one brow. This is the second time I've owned this brand, and it's lasted ten years. It has to be a knockoff or a replica.
They became unusable due to the tip's bending. Because the two ends could no longer touch when they were held together, they were usable. It couldn't pluck or hold hair as a result of this. I had to toss them out because they were completely useless. I had heard good things about them, so this was disappointing.
These tweezers irritate me! I used to have a pair of pointed tweezers that I really liked, but I misplaced them, so I bought these to replace them. They are NOTHING like it. I attempted to use them a few times. I threw them away because I was frustrated. They were unable to grasp anything! I didn't even bother to give it a shot. I was so frustrated that I had to return them. So. Don't throw your money away.
For the past 22 years, I've been buying Tweezerman products and I've always loved them! However, it appears that the quality has deteriorated in recent years. This is the most underwhelming set to date. Because the tips of the slanted tweezers don't line up perfectly, only a portion of the tweezers will pluck a hair. I despise having to pluck the same hair over and over again in the hopes of hitting the sweet spot with the tweezers. They don't grab the hair at all with the fine point tweezer. I put too much trust in these and threw the packaging away before using them. I would have returned these if I hadn't kept the packaging. I used to love tweezer man, but they're just not worth the money anymore. I've had cheap tjmaxx tweezers do a far better job for a quarter of the price. The quality has deteriorated to the point where it can no longer be considered acceptable.
I have been a fan of the brand for a long time. Tweezerman products have been used to pluck hairs for a long time. Something about the tips on these tweezers prevents them from performing as well as comparable Tweezerman tweezers in the same size and color. I'm not sure if it's because of the lovely rose-scented candle. I'm not sure if it's the gold finish or the size (though I suspect it's the rose-gold finish). They're gold, but they don't grab and hold onto small hairs the way I needed them to. Very let down.
I bought it because I had misplaced my favorite tweezers. I figured that if I paid a little more for a pair of tweezers and bought a brand name from somewhere other than the corner pharmacy, they'd actually work. It appears that businesses believe that the sharper the edge, the better. NO. They must WORK, which entails plucking rather than cutting facial hair. Returning to my vintage pair of shoes - I was fortunate in that I was able to locate them.
These tweezer man tweezers were not my favorites. They didn't appear to be as sharp as regular minis.
