"Designed and packaged in the United States, manufactured in Pakistan," according to the package.
These tweezers are made of stainless steel of the 410 grade.
I can only speak on my own behalf - When closed, the tip points meet, and approximately 1/20" of the opposing side surfaces come into contact flush with the tips.
They measure 4 3/4 inches long from the bottom of the piece you're holding to the tip of the tweezer. They are, in fact, extremely relaxing.

I've never bought a pair of tweezers before. It doesn't appear to be the same as the photo. I was expecting a very sharp needle, like tweezers, but these are blunt, not at all sharp needles.
The large number of five-star reviews had me fooled. They're far too light to be made of stainless steel, especially considering their length. My Tweezerman ones are heavier because they are half the length. They're not as razor-sharp as you might think. I have an acne kit that includes a whitehead popper with the sharpness you're looking for. They have a valid point, but they failed to capture the hair on my brows or forearms. I was unable to return them, despite my best efforts during the return period. I'll just keep using them for jewelry making and crafting until they break.
It has rust on both the inside and outside, and it certainly does not live up to its name as stainless steel.
I didn't do anything about it; I just accepted it as a setback. However, I received an email asking how things were going and if I had received the product from the company, which I informed them of. They didn't just send out another pair; they sent out TWO! And they're fantastic! The lines are perfectly aligned. THAT, MY FRIENDS, IS CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S BEST! Taking it to the next level. I am ecstatic! I strongly advise it.
On my cheeks and under my chin, I have a lot of ingrown hairs. These tweezers get right into the hair, and I've been able to pull them out with them on occasion. If not, I extract the hair with flat heads. I'm not sure about the negative reviews, but these have been the most effective at getting ingrown hairs to show themselves above the skin so far. I had to be careful not to poke myself because these were needle-like. I spend a lot of time working on my ingrown hairs so that they don't turn into whiteheads or small infections. These are something I would recommend to anyone who suffers from ingrown hairs. I was able to use these tweezers.
These tweezers are ideal for removing stray brow hairs. They are the ones who get the tiniest strands of hair. They're also simple to handle. I purchased two pairs, one for my purse and the other for the bathroom where I use it. What makes these so special is that they have a fine point, which is essential for grabbing hair.
These tweezers will remove fine short hairs as well as large stubborn hairs without causing damage to the skin or hair. The tip of these tweezers is very fine, but not as sharp as a needle's. Other surgical-grade professional tweezers have an equally fine point, but if you get too close to the skin, the other tweezers will cut a small slice of skin while removing the hair. Pointed by a professional Tweezees tweezers do not cause skin irritation. The Professional Made a Remark. Tweezees tweezers have smooth sides that match the smoothness of the tip. When attempting to pull hair out, smooth sides do not cut the hair. br>br>Until I lost them and had to buy new ones, I thought the other surgical quality professional tweezers I was comparing to the new ones were the best. I mistakenly assumed that the small cuts on my skin were normal, and that some hairs were more deeply embedded or something similar to draw blood at different times. After that, I purchased these and improved my knowledge.
Updated May 2018 Review: I got a box a few days ago that contained a new set of tweezees, much to my surprise. I've been taking the carrying case with me on trips since my previous one broke. Although the time between when my tweezer broke and when I received a replacement was nearly two years, I appreciate the company's gesture in sending me a new product. I like the tweezers, and now that I'm aware of how delicate they are, I'll be extra careful with them. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I like the tweezer case, especially for traveling, and the tweezers worked well until yesterday, when one side broke off at the very end. (I didn't realize the metal was so delicate, so the tweezers are useless due to the fact that one side is longer than the other. ) The carrying case will remain in my possession.
