My fair share of reviews are written, and I invest quite a bit of time researching products before purchasing them. Over the years, I can count on one hand the number of 1 star reviews I have given. I find this thing to be a total waste of time and money. It seems reasonable to assume that this would work well for 149 and change. I am not affected in any way. While I'm not a hairy gal, the idea of having to epilate my legs or other unwanted hair only once a month appealed to me. My excitement over getting this item was matched by my excitement over trying it out. The directions advised me to read and charge the unit, wait the recommended amount of days in order to not have short hair. It took me 45 minutes to finally try it wasn't able to remove any hair with it. The skin was stretched as suggested by a few reviews, but nothing happened. Because there was no way to remove the hair, I expected it to hurt a bit, but I never felt a tug or a pull at all. In the end, I changed the head on the epilator and decided to shave my legs rather than use the epilator. There was an underwhelming response to the survey. Despite its name, it did not accomplish much. I still had a lot of stubble on my legs after a number of passes over the same area. When I tried shaving my legs wet and dry, there was still stubble on the legs. When you see the hairs with the light you can identify them a lot easier since the tool blocks your view of them. It is incredibly convenient to have the pressure indicator so you can feel your touch well. In case you put pressure on loose skin or you are larger and the skin pinches, you will get a little pain. Since you'll be using a tool to hold your skin tight, if it's not like it is naturally, then this is very important. It is mostly on the inner thigh that you will have this problem. You get more comfortable with the treatment as you progress, so it's definitely worth the money. Over time you will find your hair is growing less and less if you're using a growth inhibitor as well.
