Not at all. From THIS seller, I bought a pair of used one. They will not grip a course hair from my boarder collie's back! There was no protective tip in the box because it had been ripped open prior to my receiving them. I found that the tip of the tweezers were jagged and scuffed. As a recommendation, I suggest You need to go somewhere else!
Either it was "perfection pink" or just a pink dress.
Due to their stainless steel construction, they are sturdy and robust, but they don't feel heavy at all. I'd say they're closer to an ounce than an ounce and a half.

Then and now. Sellers on Amazon sell 3rd rate products to unsuspecting sellers and I am so tired of it. My favorite Tweezerman song is The Greatest. It's a pleasure to be here. There is an attachment to ALL Tweezerman tweezers. It always is. It was a pain to use the tweezers. People did that because they were annoyed at how bad it looked when the protective thingy was removed from the box and the headphones were returned. The reason they don't work is that they don't work! It's impossible for you to return any items to Amazon! Honestly, I feel so ripped off I don't even know what to say. The seller is a scam artist, and you should run away and fast. If you want to donate money to a charity, pick one that is deserving and not a scam artist.

It does not lose grip on hair at all! Spend a lot of money on them. It's much better to spend money on expensive ones that won't work once than on cheap ones that don't.
