I like how this guy looks on the counter and works well. My skin feels good when using this brush, it makes a nice lather and lathers well. Despite what I hear, badgers have never attacked me personally, so they are the kind of critters I prefer to leave alone. It is ideal for this purpose to use synthetic bristles. I am glad that I made the switch to this product as well as a good shaving soap because I think it looks nicer on the counter and is more economical to purchase than shaving cream in a can. As far as the quality of the shave is concerned, it seems to be approximately the same, if not better, although it takes a few extra seconds to get the lather going. The feeling of applying it with a brush is pleasant to me. *Unlike plastic or steel cans, there are no steel or plastic cans to dispose of. * Much like safety razors, I think a brush and soap are items that are superior to the disposable items that replaced them in many ways. used disposable Gillette products as a child and became more open to traditional shaving methods in my late 30's, but I am glad I switched.

As I mentioned, the item arrived very quickly, was exactly as described, and worked exactly as expected. Only minor glitches were encountered in shipping, such as a loose stand holding the brush and razor upon delivery, which was quickly addressed with a screwdriver. As opposed to boar or badger bristles, these bristles are artificial. Some may find this unsatisfactory, and I cannot comment on the length of the bristles. It is too early to comment on the long-term durability, since I have only had it a few weeks but at this price, it's hard to find something better.

Quite like the look of this stand. The brush is less important to my finance whose facial hair is very sparse, so I bought the razor more for its appearance and to hold the razor. It would make a great gift for someone who shaves and is religious about My opinion is that it could be cheaper for what I am getting. However, the counter top looks good on it even though it has a modern feel.

Several years ago, my son and I bought a safety razor set for ourselves. enjoy how well it is finished and how heavy it feels. It's easy for me to take care of my shaving brush and bowl, which go nicely in their respective places. As for the shaver holder, it is the only problem that I have. There is a bit of room in the mouth and the razor is able to slide around when moved. In my opinion, the razor holder would offer a better grip if it had an upward tilt. All in all, I like the product. It is compact and has a lot of capacity.

Item looks the same as the picture. This is a good quality product. I can keep my razor in place without it This brush has good quality, is thick. This is a sturdy stand.
