There is a lot of plastic and this apron appears to be quite cheaply made. It is uncomfortable and extremely light, Unfortunately, two of the suction cups from my old apron don't work. I'm lucky to have one more set. The apron comes with a pouch to hold the big and small cups, which is much nicer than the actual apron. You will still not have a functional apron if you don't have an apron or another way to secure it to your mirror. If you don't have an apron or another way to secure it, skip this.
The results of smoking this product are hilarious! With a trash bag and some bubble gum, you've already done it. more serious note, the bib isn't AWFUL, it's just very thin, and the Velcro feels cheap. Its suction cups are the only thing keeping it alive. No matter what they do, they never stick. The little circles do not even look like cups, they are just flat surfaces. Then again, I might get some suction cups from Dollar Tree and actually use this thing. Although it is fun to give, the box costs about $20.
It has an awesome concept but majorly lacks in its construction. There is barely enough suction to hold the mirror to the suction cups. If you ask me, it is ridiculous that a cape is attached to a full grown man shave. The loops, if that is what you wish to call them, are barely holding on. That's all it is, a thread and one stitch. It would have taken only a trash bag and painters tape to accomplish the same thing.
I highly recommend this product. . . as long as you plan on using it once and then throwing The comb catches the hair, but when you try to shake it off completely, the trimmings remain. Consequently, if you use it only once, it will leave hair behind all over everything it touches. Although you may be able to rinse it outside between uses, that would defeat the purpose of trimming your beard inside.
Because of the poor quality of the suctions, it will not stay on the glass, no matter how many times you apply, it will come out on its own and make a mess, it will not keep on and it will not remain on the glass. Sorry about that.
If you have a greater neck (I have a 17 inch neck), this thing might be too tight for you. The velcro is there, but it is not comfortable to use to get a good connection. This device would be perfect if they made it's neck attachment a bit larger.
IF you are just trimming or shaving, the material is okay, but it is prone to ripping. It is secured by hooks that are connected to the suction cups on the apron end. However, the apron and hooks have a tendency to easily undo themselves.
The only drawback I see is that I wish it stuck to closet doors for storage since it works on mirrors.
