They haven't been necessary for me to use them on my eyebrows so far, but I can see that they would effectively do that! Stainless steel is used for the blades, so they are sharp. The hairs and skin around my neck and face are really getting dragged by these. When the blade is actually being used to cut the hair, it is quite hard to make it do so. For the blade to work, you have to tug and pull hard on it. These would probably be useful if you had to use them quickly.
