As far as I know, no. As a result of the iron in it, blood clots more easily.

Tube has only "made for Infa-" printed on it Inc. Lab. The Rockaway neighborhood of New Jersey. I assume it is made in the United States. It contains 50% ferric sulfate as one of its active ingredients.

This clipper can be used to cut animal nails, right?

Even though I have never tried it on my dogs, I imagine it would stop the bleeding if not too severe. To apply it, I just wet my finger and dip it into the powder, then apply to the wound. A much better product than a styptic stick, I think.

Despite the small size, this vial will last a long time because so much is packed inside. You can also use it to shave nicks on your legs.

The bleeding stops immediately after a small amount of the solution is applied with a moist qtip. A great product to have on hand when your dog has a scrape. Before buying this product I purchased it from another seller, and when I attempted to use it, the styptic powder was hard as a There was no seal on the unopened package, so I am unsure of its shelf life and if moisture also got into it.

My supply of this product had run out after years of use Although I had searched many pharmacy stores without success, I had a feeling I would not be able to locate the product.
