In addition to stopping the bleeding from nicks or scrapes, this stick works great as a wound dressing. If you apply it to the wound for the first time, it will sting. We just want you to be aware. However, the sting does not last much longer than a couple seconds. That's not even the worst part. Please do not touch the sponge -
I personally recommend against it It seems kind of bizarre to imagine about all my blood staining the tip. There's no doubt that the medicine kills germs, but I can't help thinking it's gross to think of my own blood staining the tip. Basically, I just put a little oil on my finger and then use whatever is on my finger to apply to a little bit of advice. ) For some reason, this stick has let the medicine drip out of the bottle cap a little, so when I open the cap again, it's all dried and crusted around the threads. Despite the fact that it doesn't leak past that point, I did think it was a little strange. In spite of that, it has been extremely beneficial. It's a good shave cream for more than just shaving nicks. I'd recommend it for other minor cuts and scrapes as well. (I bought my last one about 12 years ago.
The thin paper I use leaves me vulnerable to bleeding if I make a small cut. Small nicks and cuts are easily treated with this product. It works quickly, and the soft tip can be washed clean If you want to soak, gently turn the top upside down and run it under cold water. You can use your finger to wipe off any dirt.
Make sure you have an alum block on hand. You'd probably be able to use that block for a year or two without any If you plan on using it frequently, then you need to remember to rinse the tip each time you use it, and You will definitely get the best bang for your buck with an aluminum block.
When I first got this product, I was quite happy with the size of the tube because it was the perfect size and it dabbed (not wiped) on cleanly and effectively when I had a small I eventually had to throw away the sponge tip after it disintegrated after about five or six uses. With a bit of effort, I can still get some of the liquid out and use that on my face, but it's more of a hassle now, and I will probably toss the one I have and not buy this one again unless they improve the sponge tip quality.
I appreciate the other products that Clubman Pinaud offers (talc and aftershave. There are better wines out there).
An alum block would be inferior to this. Compared to the aluminum compound, it works better for me at stopping nicks. The cloth is also easier and faster to travel with, and doesn't require to be hung There is the one con of the application pad tearing off just as the bottle was about to As a result, I was forced to remove the application head completely and use my finger to apply the solution. I have no problem with it. The product is excellent.
I bought this product recently, wondering if I would ever need it since most of my shaving nicks aren't severe. Back in the day, I used a styptic pencil frequently when I used a safety razor. As I was about to go out Easter Sunday, I shaved a bit of ear hair/fuzz. I noticed nothing bleeds as much as the skin around my ear Clubman Dab is a type of rap I did not have to go out looking like a clown with bandaged ears because On worked like a charm. I thoroughly recommend this product. I agree with the previous review that it's best to apply a bit to your finger and dab the wound, rather than contaminate the applicator.
Safety razors have become very popular among beginners. I was recommended this for them by someone who is a safety razor enthusiast. Almost a year have passed since I started shaving, and I rarely use it anymore. In my experience, I have used it maybe once or twice, but the problem is that the foam applicator at the end gets torn or something and crumbles, and I have to take it off quickly. This is completely pointless when it happens. It's not often I use it, but I do nick myself occasionally if I'm in a hurry, so I will instead pick up an Alum block, which you cannot damage.
In years past, this product was readily available to me. Recently, it has been very difficult to find. Recently, I decided to check Amazon and rather to my surprise, I discovered that it was available there. This is better since it doesn't leave any white film on my skin like the white syptik pencils do. In case of shaving cuts, simply dab two drops on a tissue and wipe with a damp cloth and the bleeding stops and also there is no white residue left behind. These two products are both in my possession. It's possible that the rubber tip on the applicator might wear down after a while, but the plastic left over can still be used to dab the cut. Efforts have been made to make this an excellent product.
