Here's the deal: N95 and KN95 masks are difficult to come by as a dentist. This is the same ultraviolet light box used in barbershops, with a printed picture of scissors and combs on the glass door. br>br>I'm not sure what kind of white bulb is in it, but I have a friend who works in infectious disease control, and he said the UV light has to be between 220 and 280 nm in wavelength. This unit, which is 260 or 270 nm, is within the parameters for killing bacteria/viruses, including the coronavirus, according to the last time I checked. I paid $173 for this unit, and some dentist friends of mine were duped into buying a similar-looking box for $50! br>br>While the boxes appear to be identical in appearance, they are equipped with LED lights that do nothing. You can tell by gently tapping the Bob with a metallic instrument to see if it is made of glass or plastic; UV light bulbs, unlike LED bulbs, are made of glass. br>While the boxes appear to be identical in appearance, they are equipped with LED lights that do nothing. When the masks are removed from the high-tech apparatus, They almost have an "ozone" smell to them, which is not stinky but rather a clean disinfected smell. br>br>Because these UV lights don't produce heat, you can disinfect your phone with them. br>br>We're using the sparks to sterilize our limited supply of expensive masks; the only thing to keep in mind is not to overlap masks, as this will result in insufficient UV light for proper disinfection/sterilization. br>br>If our patients bring their own mask, whether store-bought or homemade, to their dental appointments, We always offer to sterilize the patients' masks, whether purchased or handmade, because it only takes five minutes to sterilize the mask and the unit has an eight minute and a thirty minute setting, so they can leave with a clean and disinfected mask. My patient appears to be very appreciative of this.
Plug it in, place what you want to sanitize inside, press the power button to turn it on, and then choose between an 8 or 30 minute cycle. If you want to turn off the device early, press the power button. It truly is that simple to use.
A child's shoe is all that's left.
It has only one long light bulb, but the entire interior surface (except for the glass door) is a mirror reflective surface, so the light bounces around and reflects everywhere.

Made for a very low price. Many of the parts are made of light-weight plastic. There is no switch to turn it on and off. To turn the unit on, you must plug it in, and to turn it off, you must unplug it. There are only two timing options for the unit: 8 minutes or 30 minutes. Instructions indicate that 95% of bacteria can be killed in 15 minutes. Instructions were extremely poor. Although the instructions are written in English, much of the comprehension is not.
This product was purchased for the purpose of disinfecting masks, gloves, and other small items. The reason for this is because of the Covid- I wear masks to work because I'm 19. Masks, particularly 3M n95 masks, are extremely expensive and difficult to come by these days. Only a few n95s are in my possession. As a result, I'm considering using them again. UV light is the most effective method of killing viruses and bacteria. Disinfecting cards, keys, and gloves is also a breeze. It's likely that it could also be used to disinfect phones and other electronic devices. This product's potential is still being explored by me.
(All you have to do is plug it in and start using it!) ) I like knowing that instead of hoping that my items are virus-free, I'll know for sure. Coming home from work, putting everything in the sterilizer, and heading for the shower will be very convenient for me because I teach school. All of my items will be virus-free by the time I'm done!.
able to be installed due to a manufacturing flawbr> Then, after replacing with an exchange order, THIS ONE turns on but does not light up to sterilize, so it does not work. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Because neither item is acceptable, I'd like a working replacement or a FULL REFUND.
China is the source of this product. Made for a very low price. On the unit, the word "light" is misspelled. I'm having trouble getting the UV light to work, and it's making a dull buzzing noise. I can't believe I spent so much money on garbage. I would give it a ten out of ten for not being a good idea.
It is effective against bacteria of all kinds. It's extremely practical and simple to use.
Update- Within a week, they send a completely new working unit. br>It didn't work out. The UV light was not activated.
Excellent item.
