There are no hard plastic parts, so it's incredibly sturdy, and the wheels roll a lot smoother and more smoothly than others. Seeing as I am partially disabled and use the chair in the kitchen to relieve pain from standing, I have only two complaints, neither of which is a major problem. The seat is hard and it doesn't go down as far as I would like.

While the wheels aren't designed for carpet, they can be used on hard surfaces. There is a selling point that the wheels can be used on any surface and that they transition smoothly between surfaces. They are useless on carpet, according to me.
