The padded top is approximately 3 inches thick overall. 25 inches in length. However, keep in mind that the upholstery thickness (possibly 0. 25 inch ? ) and the thickness of the sandwich's rigid base at the bottom, which I estimate to be at least 0. I'm guessing it's about 5 inches long. Perhaps two layers of padding. How about 5 inches?
If you're a professional massage therapist, you should get rid of your old table and replace it with a new one. Infection control is hampered by fabric tears. Your professional reputation is more valuable than the table's low cost. If you only use the table for yourself, duct tape or a patch kit will suffice.
Following knee replacement surgery, I bought this table on the advice of my physical therapist. It would have been extremely difficult for me to do my daily exercises on a bed (too soft) or the floor (impossible to get onto the floor immediately after surgery). The table is extremely durable.

Thank you to all of the reviewers who admitted that they use this table for PT/stretch exercises rather than massage. This is exactly what I needed, except the quality was far superior to my expectations. Also, it was delivered very quickly. Even for a big man, it's as solid as a rock while remaining light. During physics class, some design engineer must have paid close attention. I assumed it was made of standard old clanky thin tube steel when I ordered it, but it's actually made of very fine hardwood. Good on you, guys; it's good to know there are still some serious manufacturers around. I'm also not sure how they came up with such a low price. Because of the way it feels and looks, the cover could just as well be leather. It has a lot more padding than my professional physical therapist's office.
I bought this table to use as a stretching/exercise table because getting down and back up from the floor is extremely difficult for me. I only wish it could be lowered a little more so that my feet could rest on the floor when I sit on the edge of it doing certain exercises because it holds up well under my weight, even with a lot of movement during exercise. However, I understand that it was designed to be used as a massage table, and no massage therapist would want to work on a client while bending over that low. This was unquestionably a wise investment, and I wholeheartedly endorse it.
Apart from that, a fantastic table! I enjoy the table in general. The issue I had was that the screws that hold the horizontal metal support rods in place are too short to accommodate the rod's thickness while still allowing me to screw the rod back on. I eventually gave up and drilled holes in the next level of adjustment spots, inserting longer screws and wingnuts; this is a simple fix by the manufacturer, and I'm surprised it was overlooked given how well the rest of the table is constructed. I weigh 280 pounds and stand 6'2'' tall. I was pleasantly surprised by the table's durability. I bought it so I could do exercises that would normally require me to get down on the floor, which I couldn't do because of my back problem. Another thing I didn't like was that in order to fold the table, the horizontal leg stabilizers had to be removed. A table that folds up for storage would benefit from a quick release connection. It appears as if the goal has been defeated. I have the space to keep my table up, but it would be inconvenient otherwise; in summary, I like the table's quality, stability, padding, and price point, and would recommend it. If it weren't for the issue with the horizontal stabilizer rods, I'd give it five stars.
AMAZON. PURCHASE. EVER. One of the most excellent Amazon purchases I've ever made! Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is a condition that I have. Because I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, daily physical therapy is critical to my health. But, especially in the winter, I don't always feel well enough to leave the house to keep up with my PT on a regular basis at the center where I go. As a result, I was ecstatic when I discovered this table! First and foremost, I was astounded by the low cost. It sounded too good to be true, so I dismissed it. I was ecstatic when I first saw the quality of this item, which was very similar to what I'd seen at the centers I'd visited - I couldn't believe how happy I was. It's light enough to carry around, in my opinion. /or easily transportable in a car if necessary The handles are well-made and functional. it was heavy-duty usage It's almost like a pop-up shop, with only a few steps to set up. I found the table to be very sturdy after using it. extremely relaxing When finished, it's very simple to clean and fold up. stow it away in a closet or under a bed My only wish is that it included a headrest so that I could sit comfortably. Massages at home that are therapeutic. Overall, I am EXTREMELY pleased with this purchase; it far surpassed my expectations. I couldn't be more pleased! I'd appreciate it if you could click the "helpful" button if you found my review useful. thanks!.
I'm a 240-pound woman. and perform 15 different physical therapy exercises (stretching) Three times a week (50 minutes each session), you should work on it. It's a sturdy piece that folds easily. It's easy to put together, adjusts to different heights, and is relatively light. Excellent Product.
This massage table was originally purchased for use as an exercise table. I needed to do floor exercises for my back, and because my knees aren't in great shape, getting down on the floor and back up was difficult; however, this table was fantastic. The quality was surprising for the price, and all I had to do was unfold it. There is no assembly required. I placed it in the completed section and left it there for the time being. It's portable because it folds and latches. It's long and wide enough to suit your needs. There isn't a smidgeon of shakiness to be found. This item is extremely durable.
It's entirely my fault; I failed to notice the pad's thickness. I used to have a thicker version of the same brand. What a stark contrast! This one is solid, but the bar that prevents it from collapsing by accident is difficult to attach. I had to bend it in order to get it on. What is the point of all of this? This is in desperate need of a pad to make it more comfortable. For a bit more money, you can get that. I'm the one who didn't double-check. However, for the money, this is a great deal.
