Conair Reflections Double-Sided Incandescent Lighted Vanity Makeup Mirror, 1x/7x magnification, Oiled Bronze finish

Reviewers wrote good things about it, so I ordered it. But it didn't work, so After I bought the second, I bought a third. There is no LED in it. A bulb is what it is. You can take out the one that comes with it and replace it with a $3 GE Reveal light, which can be found on Amazon. That's why there are screws in the side. This is the best vanity light I have ever used. As you can see, it's the same as the picture.

I purchased the oiled bronze version, which has a light switch on the bottom. Whenever I see this, I'm in love. I was initially concerned that the lighting was too dim, but I was wrong - the lighting is actually perfect When I use this in the morning, it provides a perfect amount of light in an almost pitch black room. You don't need it so bright that you can't see into it, but it shouldn't be too dim that you cannot see into it either. I guess I have to say The one downside to this mirror is its inflexibility. I've noticed that the back side with the 7x magnification has a serious problem where every time I gaze at it, some weird looking troll seems to be staring back at me from the inside. Do not look at this side of the mirror in the morning since it will occupy an excessive amount of time as you stare at the image in a state of shock, trying to fix it to no avail. Pray that no one will ever see you at 7x magnification, gosh. Try the mirror, but don't look at the 7x side. It will be too.

This year marks five years since beginning! A month after purchasing this makeup mirror, I was given this gift. Currently it is July 25, 2017 and the bulb just blew today around 430 p. m. The product has been in daily use for 5 years. Stylish and complementary to my oil-rubbed bronze bathroom fixtures, this lamp will complement my decor perfectly. The price was more than worth it. I just need to go purchase a $2 if I want to use this Put the next four bulbs on the list and work on them one at a time. I have been in the industry for five.

I particularly like the two sides of the room being lit. So many eyebrows have been plucked under my nose! I've never had such ease in plucking them! The product is especially helpful for those of us who wear glasses and need to be able to get very close to the mirror in order to do our makeup. As well, the lighting means I never go outside and realize my makeup is too dark or light because of the bad lighting I had when I did it. Furthermore, it looks really cute, which I definitely like. Other people have commented that the temperature does get very hot. I would never leave it on when I wasn't in the room because the heat would always make it uncomfortable to touch. The only thing I do with it is to do my makeup or pluck my eyebrows while it's on, and I take it off once I'm done. In short, I am very happy with this purchase! I was very satisfied with the product and it was described in detail. (The picture with my hand shows how thick the mirror's side is.

As many as I loved this mirror while it worked, I regretted buying one after the light stopped working after buying one. Conair did not respond to my e-mail when I contacted them. As much as I liked the mirror, I figured it may have just been one bad mirror, so I bought another. Following this, it has been a few months, and we are back to the same scenario. I have experienced two instances of the lamp not Don't do this, no matter what you do! There is no value in this at all!.

Even with the overhead light on, I can still see my face well, but if I have to do my makeup at night and my husband is asleep, I can do it with the mirror light. It is very attractive to have the burnished bronze finish.

The mirror I need is perfect for me. There is however the possibility that not everyone will be satisfied with it. Despite its warm color, the light is not really bright, but I did not want a very bright light, since I have a light bar above my vanity that has (6) 40watt bulbs. If you didn't already have a good light source in the room, it would probably not be bright enough. This is not the kind of light you'd use to apply eye makeup with. Despite the cold, it is a warm day I wanted a light that wasn't too glaring for your eyes to look at, and this is what I got. A second reviewer indicated that they replaced the bulbs with brighter LED bulbs and had success. This is a very pretty mirror, but it's sad that it's broken The piece seems to be well constructed and sturdy. My goal was to replace the makeup mirror I have with one that takes up less space and looked good on my vanity I purchased the mirror because it didn't take up as much space. As a result of the poor lighting, I'm returning it. Instead of the halogen one, I'm going to switch to LED. There's one here on Amazon that has both a battery and a plug (I don't want to keep buying batteries). I hope that one will work better for you.
