It helped me put on my makeup quite a bit to be able to use this 15x magnifying mirror since I had to wear reading glasses to put on my makeup. The handle can be bent flat against the mirror so that it can fit in my makeup pouch after it's bent. I can use the magnified side to do my eye makeup and tweeze my brows and look at the overall effect with the 1x side. I can bend the handle at an angle to make it a stand or straighten the handle to use it like I do not have a problem with the handle not supporting the mirror as some other reviewers mentioned, nor is it too stiff - I have not had any problems with the handle supporting the mirror as some other reviewers mentioned - Bending it is relatively easy. The screws that hold the handle joint together are visible and can be tightened if it loosens over time. It is also not blurry on the magnified side of the mirror, as stated in one review There is indeed a concave magnified side, and you have to get close to see clearly as you would with any magnified mirror, but it does not blur in the slightest. In addition to the good quality, the price is affordable. If I had to buy it again, I would definitely do so. As well as the price was very reasonable.
A compact mirror with magnification I needed for traveling was needed. As I was applying makeup, I didn't realize that the mirror I use at home had only a 10x magnification, not a 15x one as this one does. I would not deduct any stars from the review because it was totally my fault. This mirror was good except that it had too strong of a magnification and made me have to stand super close to it. I liked that it could be set on a counter or hung on a hook, since I was at a distance from it. The package was shipped inside a nice suede bag An item like this should be kept in a like-new bag to prevent scratches.
The mirror should be of a reasonable size. The regular side is fine, but the 15x side is very blurry. You must find a spot to be able to see it clearly. There is absolutely no clarity in this. Rather than keep the item, I am returning it.
This mirror does what it's supposed to do. I did not like about the 15x side was that I found it unsuitable for me, 10x would have been better. The thought of changing it entered my mind, but I did not want to go through the process. In order to see 15x magnification, you would have to bring the mirror very close to your face, and so you would only see very little.
My recommendation is to buy it!.
As an eye-safe hand magnifying mirror, I haven't owned a portable hand magnifying mirror in years, as my previous owned hand mirrors were not eye-safe The material is pleasant to touch and easy to break. After searching Amazon, to my delight, I found an attractive, affordable, green (my favorite color), stable, portable, magnifying hand mirror that I eagerly ordered, was delivered in excellent condition, and I am quite pleased with it. My Amazon membership means a lot to me because I'm retired, live in a mobile home and use a lot of Amazon services Residents of a high-income senior living community do not drive anymore, and do not have.

It works only if there is a straight line between your eyes and the mirror. You cannot keep anything in focus by moving your head sideways or in any direction. It was too small, so I replaced it with a bigger one. Although I don't think this one is as practical as this one, if you are like me, and looking for a mirror that functions as a magnifier, then I suggest you get this one instead.
