Do not be tempted by the price, as it will lead to a waste of money. It's been a long time since I had surgery I'm a repeat user of facial blotting papers, and these are the least effective I've ever had. Maybe it's the paper finish that makes them less absorbent, or maybe this is due to the material used. The first two or three wouldn't give me satisfactory results, so I would use them sequentially. I can only assume those reviewers have never used blotting papers before based on the five star reviews posted here. Bamboo charcoal is currently what I am using, which you can also find on Amazon. There's no need for more than one sheet, and they're extremely effective.
For this reason, I have given it four stars. The best thing I can do for an oily face is to mop up the mess using two blotting papers. It was a joy to work with these papers. It does exactly what it says on the package. The sheets are really thin and keep ripping on me and it takes two swipes for the same area because the absorbency isn't what I expected it to be or I'm super oily like a fish, and there are so many sheets, it's no big deal! The fact that my makeup is not wiped off is a definite plus for me. Unlike many other moisturizers, this one doesn't dry my skin out as much. I plan to buy more in the future.

This is the third time I have purchased this blotting paper, and it works well. I always get oil on my hands because paper makes it through. However, I like the packaging because it is thin and convenient. One thing is that in the bottom of the package that holds the sheets, I must tape it shut so the sheets won't fall out this is the only thing I've had to do.
