A Beauty Blender is completely different from this. There is a lot more hardness and firmness in this object. If you're a first time Beauty Blender user or have never used a beauty sponge before, this one is perfect for you. Although it's a nice firm sponge for packing or beating the face, it can't compare to a Beauty Blender or Real Techniques sponge
As far as absorbing foundation, I'm not sure that it is any different from an average sponge, but it does depend on the type of primer. It seems to absorb Foundation more quickly the thinner or more Dewey it is.
When the water is running, squeeze the sponges together and let go of the squeeze while the water is running so that the Sponge can absorb as much as possible. At that price point, I was not able to persuade myself to pay that much for a make up sponge, even though it had been a problem for months. You have done an amazing job! There are a bit more dense than the beauty blender - which I feel is actually a good thing. The result is even more impressive. When wet, they receive an expansion of about two times their original size. It only holds more water because it is a little bit denser than the other type. It's easy! Just squeeze in a towel a couple times more than you would with a beauty blender, and you're good to go! Apart from that, the finish is beautiful and the price is even better than you'd expect!.
The crayons were just the right size for the price! When I opened the box, I thought they were going to be too small, but after soaking in water they doubled in size. have a wonderful soft texture, but are dense enough not to saturate them in product. Both foundation and powder blended wonderfully with them.

The beauty blender sponges are well worth the price. I was skeptical at first because they were cheaper than the original Beauty Blender but was pleasantly surprised by how well they worked. The products are so great that I'm tempted to keep buying them and would recommend them to my fellow beauty bloggers.
This is a great product. It is hard to tell what the difference is between these and name brand It may be even better than the MAC one I purchased. The sponge increases in size when wet, and is extremely porous, so it makes a great foundation sponge. Despite having yet to test them for dry makeup, I am curious to try them.
They are softer than real techniques, but not as soft as genuine techniques. The sponge does soften when wet, but it is still not as soft as other sponges. My favorite thing about these sponges is that they are thick and absorbent! I dislike sponges when they are soft (though I am not assured that is the case). Maybe I'm not using them correctly, but if a sponge is too soft, I can't get my foundation right. I was able to resolve my issue with these. can't say how happy I am with how my foundation is applied. These sponges are inexpensive and I don't think I am going to buy any other ones.
Just like with any sponge blender, you should let it run under hot water and squeeze out the excess water, keeping the sponge a little damp (very little) to help soften it. This will help to make your makeup go on perfectly! I will certainly buy.
